I swear all the people who think GoW2 was better than GoW1 were never truly GoW1 fans, if you really got into GoW1 you would've realised what a fucking dissapointment GoW2 was.

But, as all companies do, Epic proved themselves to be greedy, money-hungry cunts. Not only did the try and incorporate CoD like aspects (ie: matchmaking) they delayed GoW3 so they could make more money from the Christmas sales. They sacrificed the franchise so some 12 y/o CoD players might play it for a few weeks.

Both, obviously. First of all, the story from 1 continues in nr 2... and they are both great games. I felt gears 1 to be more horror-like than 2 because you played in more dark corridors etc. But gameplay wise nr 2 is an improvement. I'd still get both if I were you. I know I did!

Well each trailer fits the different feelings that the games are giving off. Gears of War was a kind of game in which everything was in chaos and little hope was left for humans. Gears 2 gives off a feeling of at least a remnant of hope for humanity.

I would say I love both about the same just because the different auras that they fit in each game.

Last Day

I just don't like the music for Mad World. Too sad and too... meh.

But Last Day shows more of the characters- and then with the music and the way they all look out at the drills... and the other expressions.

It makes it seem like "how this will end" was that they knew they're probably going to die. Which is why they cherish that quiet time in the beginning of the trailer.

Now if only they HAD died, it would have come full circle. haha

In my opinion the Gears 1 trailer is better since the Mad World song, the environment, and the atmosphere was just sadder and makes you feel like it is a mad world. Gears 2 feels more like a movie were the gang is going to take back their place and make everything better. Mostly due to the fact that Last Day song gave it that feel. But I prefer Gears 1. No I am not a fanboy, I play all systems equally.
