Yes, unfortunately they gave Amelia the WORST end they could give. I thought she could be dead before I saw the game. I thought maybe Lara would find her dead and frozen, but this? Turning her dead body into a zombie? We waited 2 years to see this? Very disapointing...

About Amanda, she deserved to die because she made Amelia go to that place and die in cold. Doesn't matter if it was an accident. Well, at least she saved Lara, twice.

@deramysinger yeah when amelia pulled out excaliber in tomb raider legend she went to avalon or where ever lara is at this point of te game and she must have died and got turned into a thrall. must be what happends to people when they die there

i really hope that in the next (and possibly last) tomb raider game, that Lara becomes friends with amanda again, and find out the reason behind all of these weird things (such as helheim, natla, etc), as one huge powerful force, and they have to stop it.

You could even add 2 player co-op too xD Lara and amanda

Kind of a spoiler:

Amanda dies. Lara shoots her and leaves her in the snow to freeze to death in the Secret Ending. You must be inhuman to survive all that.

That's the alternate ending. It is an ending that you can watch, but did not actually happen according to the lore. So Amanda is still alive, and the alternate ending never happened. But didn't Eidos collapse or something? If so, tomb raider will be no longer ):

She could still survive with her demonic necklace.. True, it was "out of juice" the last time she used it, but it seemed to recharge after they were thrown out of the looking glass.

They're not friends at all. They just stoped fighting, but Lara could never be friend of the woman who made her mother go to that cave and die in cold, no matter how many times she saves Lara's life.

if you watch this in actual gameplay(this one's blurry), you would actually see that she did not pick up the mjolinir and her gun, you can even get a glimpse of it when she walks away from amanda....

Actually ur half right and half wrong, she does live after being hit by thor's hammer and falling, but if u play lara's shadow(xbox exclusive - unfortunatelly) u know that lara frees the doppelganger from obeying only to natla's orders and tells the DG "Make sure Natla sufers". After that the DG goes after Natla and kills her.
