I wonder about the female thing and the apartments lol.
Ive seen others vids, and the apts are usually small, not that bad(like in tokyo). But my friend(a she), was in hiroshima. Do you get the tv when you move, or u have to buy it from the previous Jet?
When I had a school provided apartment in Tokyo, the entire size was just the size of that guest bedroom with an add on toilet and mini balcony. I had to pay about US$1200 per month on it as well!
I've heard those kinds of horror stories. Luckily, Aizu isn't a huge metropolis (only about 150,000 people) so there's more room for bigger appartments. Her building is also owned and opperated by the city, so her rent is unusually low - about $60. One of the perks for being a city employee, I guess.
Yeah, she's done a good job making it her own so it's not so empty looking anymore. Cheap too; she pays about $60 a month for it. It would be better if you could take a hot shower in the morning, though. Winters in Aizu are cold!
