IT IS THEIR OWN FAULTS, SHOULD HAVE LISTEN TO KISS GUY ON REAL SHOW, REFUSING TO CHANGE THEY WERE FAR BEHIND GUY TALKING IS RIGHT, I LOOKED EVERYWHERE FOR A KODAK PRINTER 4 YEARS AGO NO WHERE TO BE FOUND, BROUGHT A CANNON
I am worried now, about how the digital production will be sorted out, considering their C-41 chemical processing, traditional prints are still a favorite among professional photographers. Kodak offers their Endura line of papers, including Endura Metallic. Though Fuji offers great professional paper products for traditional printing, the qualities of Kodak are far superior in my eyes.
It's disappointing. Kodak was on the forefront of digital photography, supplying NASA photo sensors for telescopes in the 80s and offering up sensors and electronics for Nikon and Canon dSLR cameras in the 90s. Kodak's own DCS 14n (Nikon mount) digital camera was also a well thought out professional level dSLR that was just slightly behind the quality of Canon's 1Ds at the time.
its a shame really, they had some decent digital cameras, we owned a couple in the past but we're currently owners of a Nikon. That said, they were slow to adapt to digital cameras and joined the bandwagon late, and even though the cameras we had were pretty good, they weren't established powerhouses like Canon, Nikon, etc.
@blackriflex39 Instead of making excuses, maybe American business should follow sound business practices and reduce high administration fees for CEOs and high-ranking members of the company.
I really like Kodak digital cameras. They seem to give you the best bang for the buck. I also like their help line, and the easy to use features. Kodak will always be here, they will just be under different ownership. I can't imagine anyone changing the name.
I guess Kodak could've never "pictured" this happening... ha!

Sadly the outcome for Kodak is not a pretty picture but will have to wait and see what develops .
