About 15 years ago, the old 246 was about $30,000 Now, you can't touch one for less than $200,000 Ferraris (like all cars) drop in value, then take a huge price swing upward. This car was made with an eight cyl. when most of the cars were 6 cyl.'s. It has a 5 sp. when most gearboxes of the day were only 3. It has a 7800 rpm redline (which is higher than most 25 years later), when most cars of the day were only 3,000 rpm.
The design is classic, and it is a high collectible!

I'm sorry to say a bad thing about Ferrari, but what the fuck is wrong with them to make such an ugly and cheap car. U can buy one of these for like a LOW $38,000!!!
It is the first of the really common ones (6,000+ worldwide), so there is plenty of supply and being a bit old and slow by todays standards (SUV can out accelerate them, esp US-spec 1981), not a great deal of demand. The 400/ 412 is about half as mush as one of these though.
saw it for sale on internet

Die Ferrari uit Ulft was een Vetroresina uit '76. Goudkleurige wielen toch?
Wisten we uit een gesprek bij een pompstation na een verloren sprint met onze M3. Baluh maar dat ding was echt retesnel!
2BPATRICIA 2 years ago

Thanks for the reply. yeah I think the fibreglass models look the best. how much do you have to pay anually on service fees?
starwarscary 2 years ago
i dont i am a ferrari mechanic so i service the car myself and tune the car
tazjb7 2 years ago
I'm sure that comes in handy as I hear servicing a Ferrari is quite pricy.

I have this car. Its fun to drive but its like a work out. Steering is tough, and you need to drop about 50 lbs. on the clutch! Still turns heads!
