This video is utterly annoying and irritating as mindbodylightsound10 mentions. There is nothing more frustrating than seeing musical instruments but hearing no music. After watching this clip I had a furious need to listen to some Chopin or short movement of Beethoven... Plus the video tries to imitate some lame effects usually seen in blockbusters. Berliner, I love you guys but this video SUCKS BIG TIME. This shouldn´t be in your channel, withdraw it while it´s still time!!!

There are too many people, who don't like change. Unfortunately those people decide, what we have to see in the classic business. I was really amazed and perplex by this art of flimmaking and how it symbolizes the relationship between musician and instrument, action and reaction in a very beautiful, artistic way. People, who finally understand what art means, understand that it is not a representation for classical music. It should inspire musicians and awake dusty antiquated intellectuals.thx!

Definitely not for promoting classical music or the orchestra. It is cheap, trite. This electronic sound is typical for DJs performing, i.e. not composing, just modifying other people's music; also found in trailers aimed at the mass market. Perhaps BerlinPhil hopes to reach a younger audience with this vid, but it sends out the wrong message. People attracted by this will be turned off by any of the other clips, and occasional lovers of classical music will be repelled by this one.

This short video flashes in a easy and quite a understandable way some of the basic and common philosphical considerations, regarding playing the music and especily the relationship between the player and the instrument, and theirs generalisations within the orkestra - nice job ;)

the visuals looked gimmicky. Worse, the guy is talking about the Berlin Philharmonic and can't come up with them performing? We are subjcted to rather sophomoric visuals and just bad noise in the background pretending to be music. This is like going to the world's best restaurant and ordering a grilled cheese sandwich.

What was that? A seizure-inducer? Or was that supposed to be music? Or a film? The voicing sounds like a robot that doesn't know where to logically pause in human speech, the lighting is absurd and obnoxious, the background noise is equally annoying, and all in all, I can't imagine why the Philharmoniker would want their name associated with this rubbish.

The flashing lights looks like it's caused by the utility power frequency. The lights are constantly flashing, this video is slowed down so much you actually start to notice it.

Mmm. Classical music needs no glamorization. It's glamorous enough. A concert virgin watching this video will get a shock when they hear what music an orchestra (particularly the Berlin Phil) actually plays. From this video I get the feeling that classical music is part of the nightclub scene!
