David, thank you for your great generosity in sharing your knowledge and experiences - and most of all, of course, your music. I have watched all 100 videos and with this being the last . . . well, I guess I'll go back and do it again! I feel you are a friend. All the best to you and Wu Han!
I can't belive I found your account, it's awesome and it is being very helpfull, thank you very much. Could you please do a video with the fingermarks like they do to little children?
But for a full cello, for making things easier you could say how many inches seperates them apart and wich notes each mark gives.
I would be very pleased. (And lots of people) Thank you very much...
It is more than a privilege to be a viewer. It is a blessing!
I have watched them all, taken notes and I have been stunned at every single step and on every single video at how simple the items are that are discussed, yet how valuable and even profound the gems of your experience can be if viewed as something to draw from.
Thank you so much for your time and your input, Mr. Finckel. I am grateful for your instruction and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from you.
Thank you David, I feel we are the lucky ones for sure to have shared a wealth of knowledge given us , by you.
You will be blessed for your kindness and generosity to other players , who will all be on very different levels, but through your wonderful cello talks , you bring us all together and enable us to have a chance to improve our understanding of music and musicianship.
You will be missed , and one day i will get to see you play in a beautiful concert hall and wave Hi ! break a leg : )
Mr Finckel, from Colombia I don't have words to express my gratitude to you,and the little childs who I teach cello i cant wait for know you i going to her concert in Bogota
Thank you again for sharing your wisdom with the world in your school of cello. I agree with your comments talk #99 that schools of cello are too few and too far between. Thank you again, and if you were wondering at all about the usefulness and immortality of your contribution, at least for me there is no doubt about either. Your contribution and greatness will endure.
Thank you so much Mr Finckel for everything you have share with us, it has been an amazing journey. I'm sad to see this is the end of your series, however you've left us with so much knowledge and wisdom. I intend to review you're episodes and build on my skills, making weaknesses of my strengths. It was you be inspired me to become serious about playing the cello and you who opened my eyes and mind to the possibilities of technique and creativity. All the best.
These 100 cello talks have been an amazing guide to making myself a better cellist. Your impact on my playing and thinking has been tremendous. I couldn't have hoped for anything better to appear on the internet. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I want to thank you for every piece of knowledge you shared with us. I wish you could post more 100 videos! There are a lot more questions and advises you can give us. :)
thank you so much for all of these videos! I have watched them all with great interest, and truth be told, I am very sad that this is the last....best wishes!
Thank you, thank you for all your hard work! It did not fall on deaf ears. A majority of these videos made an impression on me, my personal favorite being "Case for a Tighter Bow". You have already done more than enough but I am looking forward to the next one hundred!
Thanks for doing your series. I've only begun to plow through them and now I'm disappointed there are only 100. Best wishes for your future career.
