It would of did second no problem... First time doing a first to second shift manually in a burnout... Should of held it first a bit longer and got more wheel speed out of it.

it not that hard, same engine as the mustang gt, f150 has also got a solid rear axle, intake and exhaust should be enough do it

ha i know its expensive...ford covered the 1st ddiff on warranty and i seen the total..2200 parts/labour...when i blew the 2nd diff i found a wrecked f150 with 9.75 diff for just 600 bucks

I recently got 4.30 gears in my 4.6 F150. I can burn into 3rd gear! now all i need is a posi.

8.8 diff? ....i blew up 2 of them in my f150 so i swapped up to a 9.75...hard to hold 2nd with my 3.55 ratio altho i havent tried it since ive played with the tunes and tranny settings (no more 4500rpm bs)

8.8 diff.  Im gonna not beat on the truck too much. Mostly a daily driver and I cant afford to blow it up lol
