I just can't finish this test. First I collect some blood with a cotton swab, then I apply a drop of perhydrol (I don't know if it's only a Polish word, but it's 30% of H2O2), and then a drop of 1% phenolphthalein in alcohol, but nothing happens. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
The dry paper abrades a small amount of blood from the stain. That's how test is normally used. It actually seem to work better/more quickly on dried blood than wet blood.

if the stain is dry,how do you get a sample on the paper?
