Read up on the history between Wong Shun Leung and Bruce Lee, as well as read about Jesse Glover who was Bruce Lee's first student in the US. Bruce was Bruce. Don't bash the man or how he continues to influence so many to fully express and push themselves in either Martial Arts or any art for that matter. The movie has flaws, he had flaws, we all have flaws....so be it. Walk on and be like water my friend(s) :-)

@nekidbob Many people here have said he is a bruce lee poser, which is stupid because he is PLAYING Bruce Lee, what do they expect. But yeah this movie is basically an insult to Bruce and his family because lots of incidents here never happened in real life. Bruce was seen when holding a demonstration by the procuder of Batman or so, and that's how he got the role for Kato. As for the fight he had, he was frowned upon for teaching caucasians, so in an agreed fight he won and was allowed to teach

I like this film, but there r heck of alot historic differences, I think the late Bruce Lee wud hav rather us all know the truth of his life, as closely accurate as possible. I mean there were enough sources arnd even at the time of making of this film. Hollywood always hav to glorify sumthin beyond its real fact just to capitalize on that subject.

@albertodreamboy are you serious, jackie chan has took many lessons in martial arts, and all the fighting and stunts you see in his movies, those are all him, no doubles, no special effects, nothing, most of the fights were choriographed by him. He has broken over 100 bones in his acting career alone, none goes to say in martial arts.Techniaclly they both are amazing actors,but i see jackie as better.

Bruce Lee is also a product of a hype and was also an actor. This movie made him out to be a good guy, but its not entirely true. He actually sounded like a bit of a scumbag

@TrentSki80 bruce lee was not a good actor but he was a good fighter ( the contrary than jackie, he is a good actor but not such a good real fighter ) So remember, what you see in movies is not how real life is. People say Bruce is the best not because of a movie, but because he really was in real life. ( you can see in jackie's movies at the end of any movie how many times he tries something to make it right, that is a proof that his fight is act )

Well I've seen some pretty impressive moves from Jackie, I'd have to say, he is a martial artist as well as an actor, you can't fake all the moves. I remember this scene where he ran up between two steel fences, the corner of them if that makes sense and it was really high, I was pretty impressed, rumble in the bronx it was called I think. And I've read up about Jackie, he has studied Kung Fu and has mastered Nan quan, whatever that is.
