    Thanks again.

  • Cheers man your the best

  • Thanks a bunch for posting this video.

I just put a spektrum six channel receiver in my IFO and it lost much of it's elevon throws.

This video help me get them back....

I was just about to switch back to my old 72 mhz gear when I found this link,

  • What Website can you buy this plane? I tried The rc-flyers and something else came up. Thanks

  • This video was just what I was looking for! I just bought the DX6i and I am setting up the throws on my F-27 stryker....... Thanks for posting, and a big thumbs up !

  • Ran across a link to this on RC Groups. Worked super! My Swift II flies alot better now.

  • Thanks a lot, perfect for my Thundercat/Jetiger!

But setting mix to 65% for Elev +Ail was enough to double my throws 0.o. Is the "pre" mix maybe set up differently/lower on the new DX6i (dsmX) ?

  • YOU ARE THE MAN I have been trying to do this on my J10b forever and had it done in 30 sec after watching this, keep it up man.

  • thank you very much helped me alot keep up the good work

  • I wish I found this before I crashed my jetiger, great video, now setup with decent control throws, thank you!

  • i followed your directions and it didn't work. the elevator worked like the aileron and vice versa. i mixed it different and it worked. maybe i have a faulty radio. at least you took the time to help people with mixing. cheers.

or do you just mix 1 and 2 25%

    thanks

  • thanks for the vid, most useful setting up my jpower mini F/A-18. I've flown it twice on standard setting and it wasn't enough elevator :)

  • Thanx for the vid, gonna go try it out on my Xeno tomorrow

  • thanks so much bro it help me out alot on my funjet !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hello. Thank you for this video, it helped me alot. I got the DX6i few days ago. When I was using the DX5e, I just need to move a little bit the stick to make the plane respond (Typhoon 2 and T 28 Trojan), but now with the new Tx I have to move alot the stick to make those planes respond even in 100% on Dual rates. Can you help me please to make the right set up? I just need to make the Tx more sensitive.

Thank you so much for your time, Felipe.

  • Whoa, thanks for the explanation. Found this video from Google, so it will be a help to many!

  • no problem, i need to post this vid elsewhere because i still find forum postings where people are still having this problem. it took me 2 weeks of searching the net just to find out how to do this.

  • Ahhh, cool, this will help on my SuperFly and MegaFly thanks so much for posting :-)

I did a DX6i trim switch and roller replacement video, check it out :-)

  • Great! Thank you so much, Im building my second scratch build, and its and pizza box and couldn't get full throws.

  • God and why cant spectrum give us this info in the manual, you just saved my ass, I got a sr71 with elevon mixing and have been looking at the control surfaces wondering why it seemed so small and week, I have not tried this yet but was looking at the mix and just sais ehhh fuck it , your the man and one of the best vids for programing a remote

  • Well I take that back, I went to 80% on the D/R and it was way too much for my aircraft, if your going to play with this start at no more than 20% and go up in 10% jumps, I am glad I did not go the full %

  • thanks for your repsonse. great videos you guys have by the way. been watching and waiting for the next one. i hope this helped unlock the potential in your plane. drawbacks to the mixing: you cant use the mixing for anything else if you want the full throws, and some servos cant handle the amount of throw, so check the travel after the mixing and before flight. simple 2 to 4 channel elevon setups usually arent a problem, but the mixing is all used up. but have fun with the full throws, thanks.

  • Good info Brando, I have a DX6I too and was only doing the increasing the throw method to 125% too. Thanks for sharing, a lesson learned for me.

  • I am so glad I found this video. I did what you had done at first and tried to adjust the elevation or throw at 125% and did not do much. Now I can do what you did but will only add about 50% or more to start out with. Great Video! 5/5

  • thanks so much. yeah, after asking everyone at the hobby shops i was getting the same/wrong answer regarding increasing the travel adjustments. after reading the manual 100 times over and no success i just started messing with the radio. so mixing the channels to themselves is the answer. something new i found out, in the bottom left corner u can designate switches to turn the additional mixing on and off, like dual rates. so you can go soft or hard throws at the flick of a switch. thanks again.

  • Totally awesome Brando.. Very well explained..

    Nice Plane.
