I love the black & white photo's. When I was doing some amateur photography I used nothing but black film, there is something unique about how the shades of grey enhance a picture like no color can. Although the Grand Canyon and other natural wonders would be lacking if not done in color too. Still, Ansel Adams could capture anything in Black & White! Melody's voice is a perfect background that soothes the soul!

Looking forward to the show as well, and Nora Jones couldnt hold a candle to Melody Gardot, even tho i like her as well, but no chance, she doesnt have the full bodied smokey voice that Melody Gardot has or the moodiness. Saying that I can see the similarities with this song

Forget those Norah Jones comparisons.  Norah Jones couldn't carry Melody's clubs! And Amy Winehouse, what a joke. The only white singer who touches me this much was the late Eva Cassidy. BTW, saw Melody in concert in SF, amazing. She sang every song from albums with different tempos, arrangements, treatments. She is a performance prodigy.

I saw a interview on television about Melody Gardot, she was telling a fascinating story about her life. She was in a car accident when she was 19, and lose her ability to talk., she also lost her memory... her doctor asked her parents what she liked to do before this accident, and they told that she was plaing piano at bars..

Then she started to play guitarr and slowly learnt to sing/talk throw make sounds after the guitarr. Impressive story...
