In Australia, where I live, we have had similar issues.

Recently a crucifix was removed from a chapel in a Sydney hospital in the name of political correctness.

I was delighted to see a local Muslim community leader speaking out on national television AGAINST this stupidity.

His words were to the effect that as a Muslim living in a Christian nation, he would expect to see, and certainly not be offended by seeing a Christian symbol of faith in such a place.
