You're absolutely right, probably 3 or 4 more. My first go at a flight cycle....hopefully my draftsman ship improves too...face is kind of sliding around.
@MlynnMiddlewood If you were to add 3 or four more drawings, where would you place them? The wings rhythm is too even as it is now. What you want to do is add your drawings towards the upward sweep and push your final pose of the upward wings more. That way the downward stroke would be stronger, and the upward stroke more gradual with a slight CUSH at the top. You want to work into a "cushion"(space closer) or even add 2 additional exposures before changing action direction.
@RayPointer I agree completely. If I were to ever touch this again, I'd need to adjust the spacing and push the poses. Looking back on it, it's pretty poorly drawn as well... Thank you Mr. Pointer ^_^
@MlynnMiddlewood Don't be so hard on yourself. The drawing is not that bad. Before going back from scratch, consider fixing what you have along the lines of what I suggested. You might be able to see how your timing will be improved. Then if you should decide to rework it, you'll know where you are going. Good luck!
