@webnation212 hi, i would highly recommend letting your daughter learn from traditional medium as well. as efficient digital is, it is far better and faster to learn with regular pencil and paint etc. that is assuming she plans to take art beyond a hobby, then again she's only six ;)

Ah so sick of hearing this traditional vs. digital debate, it's as bad as the english vs. western debate in the horse world, really both is art both takes a certain 'touch' and talent both have it's pro's and con's and both have their own set of difficulties. I do both, and enjoy both very much! Who the hell cares what you make it with as long as you made it yourself. It's art, it's the piece that's suppose to evoke emotion not what you made it with. Focus on the content.

@chris311281 although you can never beat traditional paper, if you learn on paper, you'll be even better on computer, because paper doesnt have things like opacity and gradient options. So while your drawing could look good on the computer they may not look good on paper
