@njskiinglegend i am guessig at this but I think he had already sorted the cards into suits off camera and pocketed the suits that were not the guys card.

i guess he had then taken the one suit and fanned them out in his hand so they looked like a stack of 52 cards, rather than just one suit. then he pushed them together again, eliminating the small air gaps.

just a guess, no idea how he sorted the pack, removed 3/4 of the cards and fanned them, off camera in under 15 seconds. great trick!
