@dispellerr99 His theory knowledge isn't *that* extensive. His technique is what he is known for. A guy like Christian Muenzner has all of those things, and is involved in a lot more projects. He did of course write about half of the Epitaph solos, yet nobody mentions him, conveniently. You can tell which ones he wrote and played just by listening. His phrasing is very unique, even six years ago. He went to the MGI, after all.

Even playing Cannibal Corpse requires talent, because you learn to play the guitar just to a certain point.

At this point, everything gets harder, some people quit.. the separation of wheat from the chaff.

Anything beyond this point requires talent, as most people fail to proceed. Cannibal Corpse IS beyond that point, for sure.

As goes with most death metal, too.

( Also, i disagreed with HIM. Don't get me wrong. )
