There's not another person on the face of this earth that can sing this song like Ray Price. This song is Ray Price. I could listen to him sing this song 24/7.
Riverside, CA 1972, the Tyler Shopping center off of the 91. Howard Johnson's with a small bar in the back, with the regular crowd after 10:00 p.m. The watering hole of choice before heading home to Fullerton. It was a great time to get lit and listen to: Ray Price, Charlie Rich, Elvis, Kris Kristofferson, Eddie Arnold, Sammie Smith, Ann Murray, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, The Carpenters and Conway Twitty while sipping gin and tonics. I was 20 with a fake I.D. and life was good.
this is Price's best in my opinion. When I was a kid my friend's family lived in a house that was formerly occupied by Ray Price. They used to get letters addressed to Price concerning music industry related things.
Hope you've acquired the taste for it, let me know when it ends so there'll be more on the way.If you haven't acquired the taste yet, keep trying, you will. It grows on you ------ EVENTUALLY LOL!!!

I love the old radio
bigsoundize 1 month ago
@bigsoundize LOL!!! At least that is a step in the right direction since the radio plays only old pop and country, as a rule.
