I watched it for the hell of it..so much info it seems the directors had so many ideas and just made a mash up of a film. I mean, its a cool flick to view if u wanna laugh ur ass off for the creepiness.
I loved the flick too. And here's a fun fact. The script for the sequil was writen but it never came to light so someone else took it changed a few things and turned it into Big Trouble in little China . Which was AWESOME.
Is this your son? He has a great understanding of themes and hidden meanings. He has a grasp of more than what meets the eyes. Anyway, great review. This had me cracking up!
@NodrogTrax what a douche...his son seems very smart. His dad seems to be doing a better job than obviously your dad did. I mean, you must be pretty arrogant to make fun of someone's kid like that. What gives you the right?
This movie is soooo! bad its good. Worse than a B rated movie. There description is right on target. If you like really bad movies this one is a winner.
Actually Jdog gives a very good assessment of the plot, and recognizes that it is not necessarily a bad film. It seems like you are giving Jdog a good education about 80's movies, which is a unique decade due to the availability of home viewing media and video rentals for the first time.
You really need to see this movie again and see that it is a really good movie, I loved it.
I never took the film seriously and by the looks of it, the characters didn't either. They were zany, weird and a litte OOT but I think that adds to the charm.
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai - Across the 8th Dimension is a cult classic as is The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Little Shop of Horrors. Love all 3.
Again, I laughed my butt off watching your review. I saw Buckaroo Banzai when I was drunk and unfortunately it didn't help me forget. It was SO bad it wasn't even good. But I will watch it again, many years from now. How did Jeff Goldblum and Peter Weller ever work again after this one?! lol, great review - thanks!!
that was really funny. something im wondering is that kid your son or something? but anyways great review i laughed like hell i hope to se more reviews with you to
Yeah it was a horrible movie. Even with John Lithgow, Petter Weller, Jeff Goldblum and Chrystopher Lloyd, it was a horrible travesty. Thanks for watching!
SIGHHHHHHHH I guess I forget to turn the side led display up and I get mezmerized by my handsomness. I will have to turn it up, its so hard to not look at yourself Im a pretty may!! YAYYYYYYYYYY!! Thanks for watching!
