Well, I always use a Fender Frontman 15G, on the drive channel with gain on max.
In fact, all songs I play with the exact same settings, then if it needs smoothing out, I add a little reverb in Adobe Premiere.
Recently though, my dad and I, mostly my dad, found a diagram of my amp, and we managed to route out the line-level signal into one of the RCA jacks on the front, connected that with a signal effects processor, back into the amp, before the amplifying stage, and it plays awesome ;).

I'm heavily into the solo of Afterlife at the moment, so perhaps I'll do that first.
