This film was amazing! After almost 40 years it still stands strong. But I've heard some regret from some of the people involved in this movie because it was 'too' successful; they couldn't get any more work because of typecasting. STILL a brillant movie though.

Thank You For Replying; It's quite common for persons facing genetically altering diseases to have their semen, in the case of males, or their ovum in the case of women, preserved in deep-frozen storage. I would've recommended against considering such actions in view of Joe Jackson's addiction to beating-up children, and one must wonder what Mark Lester was thinking to allow any children near Joe-Jackson-the-child-beater.

Thank You For Replying; Agreed; Mark Lester must have known that Joe Jackson is addicted to beating-up children, by the early 1970's everyone knew, therefore one must doubt Mark Lester's sanity; poor Prince, and Paris.

The sadist part is that Jack Wild was led down a nasty path by those he considered his friends, and his was the talent in 'Oliver', plus Jack Wild deserved a more flourishing career; although that's just a jot from a life-long fan of Jack Wild.
