AIr India is our pride...just that it needs a revamp of the management...In terms of service ,other foreign careers like BA,Lufthansa etc are no better ...i am talking from experience and not just trying to blame a legendary organization like Air India..Cyrus get your facts right before you speak and whoever has travelled on the Mum-JFK or Del-JFK leg on Air India swear by the quality and service of its operations.I salute you air India...

But it still is a low class airline with air hostesses who are older than my grandma and can't talk with no respect. :D I call them aunties. lol. Puneet i agree. I have been on BA and lufthansa and they are indeed shit. BA was horrible experience, baddd food and old noisy plane, no one even cleaned it. Couldnt get a whink of sleep on it and staff was not at all friendly. The worst flying experience of my life. Europeans incl british are very europe centric and do not know a thing about whats there in the real world. I dread taking flights in the UK/europe, no standard, zero service and zero luxury.

I work in the indian aviation industry and monitor things very closely.Air India's services are not any worse than most airlines around.Infact i think with the existing problem it faces being a government institution its doing pretty well for itself and offering very standard services, which for passengers is definitely more luxurious than the biggies in the international airline scene. I am talking out of experience.Cyrus Sucks.

see, we public are not interested in the excuses.like what sort of funding etc AI gets ..all we have faced and seen is that AI service has been below par compared to the private airlines, be that the basic like the seats in the aircraft or just the service what AI offers when theres an extreme delay of flights. Here not to blame the staff in itself but the overall administration of a typical Government body. Cyrus is one amongst us and he is free to make comment just like anybody !
