@MrSpider732 Just call your recruiter. I fortunately WAS able to join with just a GED. I swore in last week. Army is really the only branch you can get in with a GED and no college credits. Chances of that happening are slim though.

excuse me sir umm i have a plan somewhat figured out and my recruiter has been talking to me about but not really getting it hope you can help but i want to be come a officer through ocs then switch to active duty and do infantry to do ranger "tryouts" ummm how hard is it do do this from what i understand its hard to get an open infantry slot

@JewFish203 PART 1- That really depends on u. Im assuming since ur asking about 25B Info Systems Operator, u may already have an interest in systems/computers/tech. If this is the case then It won't be as difficult as someone who may not be familiar with anything in that field. Remember, if u have an interest in something you tend to learn quicker. Besides, if u make the minimum qual. scores on the ASVAB for this MOS then u are showing that you are capable of handling the training.

@JewFish203 PART 2- Is it harder than Combat Arms? Yes and no. Yes- Combat arms MOS's allow entrance with much lower scores, I can enlist infantryman all day but a 25B is a little harder to locate. No- You may meet infantry scores but may not possess the linear thinking abilities required for combat arms. Best advice, take the ASVAB, see what jobs you qualify for, pick what u believe suits you, join only when you find the best job for you. Good luck my friend, call me for more info.
