People are missing the point. The whole economic system is wrecked. It's doesn't matter is Peter pays more taxes than a lot of other people right now. The whole economic and political systems need an overhaul. There needs to be a system in place where no matter what you do, EVERYONE is exempt from poverty, energy bills, food bills and healthcare bills.... There should be a basic allowance for EVERYONE IN THE WORLD. Right now people are arguing over very basic systems...
@911vigilante And the solution to that would be communism in it's strictest form. . . . which has already been proven time and time again to not work when employed by humans.
@wesleytarbuck "tax but only on paper" means that with high priced accounting, money can be shifted so the tax burden is offset by tax havens and other trickery, essentially its like this.
General Electric is supposed to pay 10 billion a year in taxes.
GE actually pays 10 billion a year in taxes.
but, GE gains 12 billion in tax rebates and subsidies from the government, effectively GE gains 2billion per year, yet "on paper" they "pay their taxes".
@JoshReflek GE gets those rebates, because they hire people, its encouragement think of it that way.
If you pulled your finger out, started your own business, you could get some tax decuctions of your own, but since you would rather leave the responsibility to somebody else, and just turn up and do your job (which is fine if thats what you want to do) DONT FUCKING COMPLAIN ABOUT IT. Anyways, if you have a job you dont pay tax AT ALL - YOUR BOSS PAYS IT !!! theres a riddle for you.
Your accountants fees are tax deductible as well, no more or less than a giant company, so if you choose to use a shit accountant, or do it yourself, thats your problem im afraid.
@CECOAdvocate dude are you a idiot, maybe you need to listen to something Peter Schiff says you might learn something. One of the greatest economic minds.
@Jbroks86 - Alright keyboard muscles.. lets chill with the name calling... Peter Schiff knows whats he talking about, but he's obviously protecting his money. No millionaire want to be taxed more than they already are -- that means 2 less cars in their driveway. Millionaires dont spend on domestic products...
@CECOAdvocate Then why get ,mad at Schiff, he is one of the most intelligent economic minds of our days. He isnt hear to work for free for your or no one else.
There's no excuse for why this doesn't have more views.

Is D.C. doing anything about the economy?
The lack of jobs and high unemployment could ruin the economy, again.
Where are the jobs?
(US Unemployment rate: 22-25% - Great Depression Unemployment rate: 25%)
2011 Current college students: 20.4 million
2011 Expected job creation: 1.2 million (adjusted: including Nov. & Dec.)
This is unsustainable and highly dangerous.
