  • Beautiful

  • J'adore !!!!!!!!!!!!! Merci pour cette video !

  • Private Witt strangely reminds me of my father. He was in the coast guard for years, and it seems no matter how bad things get for us here at home, no matter how much we struggle, he's always living in the moment looking at the good, the now. Even when the rest of us are losing it, he never seems to let it stop him from enjoying life, and focusing on the moment. I don't know how he does it.

  • Private Witt would make a great father.

  • @bombfestFILMS its not african man its melanesian and yes just google it

  • Jim , is 1 of those actors that can say stuff to the audience wi his body language , he doesn't need many lines. It is a natural talent.

  • Are there any other African hymns out there that sound like this???

  • @bombfestFILMS this is melanesian song, but there might be african hymns that sound like this i am not sure.

  • Good video!

  • The best actor is Jim Caviezel

  • best war movie ever

  • awsome

  • coincidentally, the explosions match the clapping

  • This movie should get more credits! yes Private Witt is one of the best war characters!

  • "Jesus is watching over me, where ever I may go he is right beside me"

I'm glad it's a language I can't understand because I can't stand religion, and if god is real, from what Is going on with my species, I can't stand him either.

  • @MrSmydyoutoob you probably could understand it when reading cuz it resembles english a lot :)

  • How can one NOT love Jim Caviezel in this? If anyone was fit to bring Jesus of Nazareth to life in a motion picture it was him.

Thank him for going through all he had to go through in making that picture. It brought me closer to Him and I cannot thank Jim enough for that.

  • @09341212 are you Jim Caviezel's wife? If you are I firstly wish your daughter a happy birthday on her 4th anniversary and secondly please express to Jim my most admiration for his spirit levitating and inspirational performances in both masterpieces "The Thin Red Line" and "Passion of the Christ". All the best to your family and may God bless you all. Cheers, Ziad

  • TERRENCE MALIK is a genious!

  • Happy Birthday To Me And Jim Caviezel's Younest Daugter Emily Who Is Truning four today. Happy Bithday my girl we love you from mommy and daddy.

  • Thanks for the video of this masterpiece, but you left out the scene of Witt staring off into eternity right before he dies...looking through the madness to peace..for me the most powerful moment in the film.

  • @squamish4244 You fucking moron. Did you stop to consider that there might be people watching this song who hadn't seen the film and were planning on doing so? A Spoiler Alert might have been polite and necessary! Fucking tools on Youtube, never cease to amaze me. Cheers for ruining a film I was really looking forward to seeing.

  • @ecjj21 Sorry, I didn't know this comment would be voted so high, and there are spoilers on a lot of videos like this. I thought only people who had seen the film would want to check out this obscure song. It won't affect your enjoyment of the film at all, I have seen it several times, it is not a suspense thriller. All you had to do is say, "Please put a spoiler alert in your comment", not freak out. But with that hostility, the film might not make sense to you anyway.

  • @squamish4244 Well, it would have been redundant telling you to "Please put a spoiler alert in your comment", since a) you've already posted it and can't amend it, and b) i've already seen it, so it's already been "spoilt". It made more sense to just have a go at you. And, FYI, a friend posted this video on his Facebook, I came and watched it, and saw your comment. So perhaps there are people who haven't seen it watching this video. I'm not a hostile person, so I should be ok ;)

  • @ecjj21 It made no sense to have a go at me, all you had to do was tell me not to spoil movies for anyone else, not swear twice in your response.
