Just a tip, it may work or not, but it would be better to get the audio signals from before it goes into the B&O amp, because chances are that the B&O would not be sending the low 20-40hz signals to the B&O which would not be able to handle it.
Though, honestly your system is banging enough, I don't think it needs more, but if you wanted to get pure, unfiltered, unprocessed signals.
Because the amp outputs its maximum power at 1 ohm.. at 2 ohms it outputs roughly half of what it can do at 1 ohm.. It's just the way the sub was configured unfortunately but it was still loud anyway.. This box is old on this vid.. I have a new box which is much better now anyway :)
thats why you get a dual 2 ohm coil, parallel the coils to equal 1 ohm. and FYI you can run all hifonics amps at .5 ohms for SPL comp and burbs. nice set up though, love the cars in the back ground... nice to see you got top end subs and amps too

Hey man, how does it go with the port into the cab like that? I heard a while ago that it isn't the best idea, as you pretty much only get the tuned port frequency into the cab. Never tried it myself, so how do you find it?
It works alright I suppose, it works much better with the boot lid open though oddly :S I'm going to change it so the port and the sub face the back of the boot as that gives a nice low response, have you thought about bandpass at all?

I guess if you went bandpass, you could have the port into the cab and you would get full frequency range, but you have to be pretty well spot on with the box / port parameters. better off getting someone who really knows what they are doing to do it for you! :P

I had a 13w7 a few years ago actually, the sound quality was great but I wasn't so impressed by the output.. For the money personally I prefer the SX12 because it has a lot more output and the sound quality is very good. I havn't heard the w6 but after buying over £2500 worth of JL audio stuff I think it is overrated and overpriced in my opinion, I think you can get better for the money. It is good quality though. Cheers man, I have two 12"s and two 15"s of them and they all slap hard!! Im only using one 12" in my car as I can get a better sound with a bigger enclosure with just the one and it uses less battery of course!! If you can build a big enough box I would go for 15"s though.. I put one of the 15"s in the back of my friends Golf and it was amazing! Thx for the comment!!
