I think its really excellent that you and Pr. Hagel fully exploit simultanious harmonic intervals in your Auloi interpretations, and acheive something not unlike harmonic progression. The typical manner of playing Ancient Greek music by some groups seems to be either with a flat drone like a bagpipe, or else with pure unison accompaniment. The work of Stefan Hagel needs to be propagated!
@Pibydd They were specially made for this instrument following the descriptions of Theophrastos - they are similar to the reeds of the duduk, just smaller.
