@icewomen881 The sad reality is that in this day and age, most people's economic standing is in the dirt. Taking care of another child is going to make it harder-so too many people won't adopt. How is the baby more important than the mother? Even if a woman goes checks in with the doctor, you don't really know until you're actually pregnant. Generally if the mother's complications are too bad for her, then they're going to stongly affect and kill the baby.

When engaging the child in serious chastisement, the small of the back down to the thighs is the most effective. Use plumbing supply line, a wooden spoon or a belt. @icewomen881 Yeah, most atheists are agnostic in the sense that we don't have an answer to the origin of the universe. Yet, there's faaaaar more scientific evidence of its' creation than that of a supernatural being, therefore we chose not to believe. Yeah, everyone has problems, but having faith doesn't make you a better person if you have the same problem as an atheist. Theistic druggies aren't any more special than atheistic druggies.

@icewomen881 If I personally got an abortion I'd feel really sad, because the only reason I'd get one is if a pregnancy is going to kill me. I don't think anyone should feel guilty about having an abortion if it's for a legitimate reason. That's why I support this woman's decision for the most part.

@icewomen881 The sad reality is that in this day and age, most people's economic standing is in the dirt. Taking care of another child is going to make it harder-so too many people won't adopt. How is the baby more important than the mother? Even if a woman goes checks in with the doctor, you don't really know until you're actually pregnant. Generally if the mother's complications are too bad for her, then they're going to stongly affect and kill the baby.

@icewomen881 It's not fair for the baby if it has a bad life...It can't just live any old life. I'm glad you know people that would and I'm glad they would adopt, however it doesn't mean they actually can support another child. Again too many people won't adopt due to economic problems.

I am very well aware of that, but if you give a child a light tap on it's hand or butt when they are young, then they are going to learn what they do and don't need to do. If you read my comment clearly I said " So you take up for kids being spanked (which in some parts of that book she's reading is not right) but you support abortion (a child being murdered) makes no sense to me." I was bringing out what made no sense to me, not saying it was okay.

My mom doesn't hit me and never has. She has always shown me compassion and I am close with her on a best friend level. I always do what she says unless it's totally irrational, and vice versa. You don't have to "condition" your kids.
If they like you, they'll listen to you.

I agree with what you said in this video but after watching your other video "I Had an Abortion" this video makes you a total hypocrite. You say that it is wrong for a 4 month old child to be beat but only a few months earlier it would have been ok to KILL the child? You say that children need to separate from their parents and have their own identity but you support a woman's right(and and exercised it yourself) to take away that ability from the child before they can even have a chance.

Thank you for making the video. His website is worse than the book. This is what I found on Michael Pearl’s website. Whack, Swat, Lick, and Spank ALL children. When engaging the child in serious chastisement, the small of the back down to the thighs is the most effective. Use plumbing supply line, a wooden spoon or a belt. You must continue with the licks on the child until the child showed total submission. Google his website for the above words and phrases. Read them for yourself.

Even a declaration of "don't follow religion" is ONE point of view, a worldview, and it is just as exclusive, even saying "Make up your own mind as to what you want to follow son!", What if her child made a decision to follow Jesus Christ? Will you give him the liberty to follow what he wants? Btw, abuse happens to kids whether religious or not. She's telling us to adopt her worldview, telling US what to do, and not to do. U can't get away from influencing or nor the influence around you.
