Well, looks like my Walkthrough is now a Playthrough after all. Walkthroughs show how to do the game with 100% completion and mine now cannot obtain 100%. All because of failing to scan those Arftifact spires.
I will never follow one of MetroidHunters' walkthroughs ever again. Ever. Even though my Phazon Beam is dedicated to hers. By following hers in the begining of mine, I've doomed mine at the end of mine.
Woah, there's nothing to worry about. Once you obtain the Artifact, they count toward the Logbook as well as being an Item. You are not forced to scan the Artifact clue for a 100% Logbook.
Ah, really? Phew. I was worried there for a second.
I got that incorrect idea from MetroidHunters as well. She commented on the spires being part of lack of 100% scan completion. Truth be told, I should probably stop blaming her for my lack of research. I shoould also have at least completed the game once so that I'd know what I'm doing upon playing it.
Well, it's my first walkthrough. I can't know ALL of the unspoken tips and tricks the first time round....
The game designers from Retro studios designed the doors to cleverly disguise loading times. Believe it or not, when you shoot a door in Metroid Prime, it begin to load the area you're opening up. The larger/more finely detailed the area, the greater the loading time, which explains why the loading time for the artifacts area is greater; the background and he big room requires some time to load.
@GoMarioGoMario The comment was so long ago that I can't remember what sound I was talking about, but the best known silent hero from the Big N (since Samus talks in Other M... Not sure) is Link.
Again, not sure what sound I was talking about, because I can't remember that far back... <.<;
But he doesn't really talk. Yes, he does yell/make various noises when he exerts himself, but you have never really heard him talk... Or seen text from him.
Goddammit.....just.....goddammit....

Thanks a lot, Jen. Thanks a lot.

I know from experience, doors in Metroid Prime like to take their sweet ass time opening.
Door: Well, she shot me. Maybe i will piss her off a little and stay shut. OH S**T NOW SHE'S PISSED. OKAY THERE. I opened. God....

@huuballawick thats why in metroid prime trilogy the doors are shorter now.

MP3 flashback! Err... Flashforward... Whatever. It looks like the landing pad in MP3 on... Oh, what planet was it again... *can't remember*
Oh, and is anyone recognising the 'area/thing unlocked' music bit from another well-known silent hero that belongs to the Big N?
ryerye2828 2 years ago 6
@ryerye2828 For the music part: Not sure... Pikmin, perhaps?

@ryerye2828 I think it was the "new room" sound, which to me sounds pikmin-y, (olimar is silent, right?)
GoMarioGoMario 1 year ago
@GoMarioGoMario Yeah... But he can whistle... Which Link can't, for some reason. <.<
Why pick a Hero of Time that can't whistle?
ryerye2828 1 year ago
@ryerye2828 But to play an instrument, you need a voice, right? Plus (toon) link can laugh.
GoMarioGoMario 1 year ago
@GoMarioGoMario No you don't. All you need is a good set of lungs... Or, at least lungs. And some sort of skill.
Though, why /is/ Link mute? Is Nintendo too lazy to get him a VA, or is it more so you can better put yourself in the character's shoes?
ryerye2828 1 year ago
@ryerye2828 idk, but in the smash bros series he yells as he spin swings upward.
