I love my Blackstar. It's the best sounding head I've owned in terms of clean and distorted tones, but its drawback is not having a master volume. If you want to control your volume, use it in conjunction with a Hot Plate. Have you considered the Blackstar Series One?
How are you liking your Blackstar? I'm thinking about getting one of those... Still wondering can I handle 100 watts without a master volume :S
