Even when we have Pizza, we usually have an "Antipasto", which is exactly an appetizer, or directly some Pasta before eating it, if not both. That's why some Pizzerias and Restaurants also make smaller Pizzas.

Wanted to buy cigarettes, so asked a shopkeeper in a very little store, and he pointed me (he didnt speak english) to a cigarette automat on the other side of the road. For some reason it wouldnt take the money until the shopkeeper came with some sort of card? Was that some sort of ID-card? Sorry for off-topic..

But yeah, unfortunately it's pretty much impossible to use automats for cigarettes as a foreigner. They require you to put your Health Card or your Tax Code Card in it first to actually make them work. Luckily that shopkeeper kinda got what you needed and used his own card for you. It's not easy to find Italians that can understand or speak English too well outside big cities and big stores, unfortunately. xD

As far as the pizza is concerned, I would definitely try it, but I can tell you that is NOT Chicago-style pizza, even when considering all the variants of Chicago-style, such as Lou Malnatti's, Gino's, Uno's, Giordano's, etc. Might be decent pizza, but a Chicago-style phony, which might also explain why they are no longer in business.

Ha! I used to live in Mesquite, TX and I am so glad I don't anymore! Too much humidity, crime, and everything is brown. As far as the pizza is concerned, I would definitely try it, but I can tell you that is NOT Chicago-style pizza, even when considering all the variants of Chicago-style, such as Lou Malnatti's, Gino's, Uno's, Giordano's, etc. Might be decent pizza, but a Chicago-style phony, which might also explain why they are no longer in business.
