0:53 the three shots here are inconsistent. Evy slashes Ancksunamun, then suddenly there's a shot of her elbowing an Ancksunamun who seems to have just struck out at her even though we never saw it, and then she's back to were she originally was, much farther away and slashing Anuksunamun in the face.

Nefertiri/Evy had more fighting spirit then Anck Su Namun, Evy, had something to fight about, cause Anck Su Namun killed her father that she loved , Nefertiri/Evy Obviously wanted to hurt Anck Su Namun for doing that or kill thats why she scratched Anck Su Namun face, and because, Anck Su Namun knew that if they kept fighting Nefertiri/Evy would have won.... well thats what i reckon anyway.

@roperclack I know I agree with you there. It was all so exciting and epic...then suddenly stops:( I hate that too. I wanted to see more fighting. But I guess it's because may (in my opinion) Anck Su Namun knew she would not defeat Nefertiri. I don't know. But thats my way of thinking.:)

@roperclack I think its because she scratched her face, in a "awww that's gonna leave a mark" way. In their first fight Anck Sunamum insisted that Nefertiri wear her mask, and it all turned way more intense when they continued without them. Physical beauty was a pretty big deal in Ancient Egypt, even men wear serious make up on daily basis. When Eve scratched her face, it was a terrible offense under that circunstances, and I guess the girl didn't to risk another scar, so she ran.

@shadowfox1383 I never said that she wasn't a coward. In fact, I think the whole point of the movie is that she is a coward, and Imhotep its a greedy bastard, in contrast with Eve and Rick, both of whom have no advantage of their own and are both a little dumb if you ask me. But the thing is their love is strong enough for them to stay together and fight side by side no matter what. That's why they defeat the "bad" guys. At the end its a love conquers all silly movie. But I love it regardless.

@roperclack I think it's a reference to the fight at the beginning, when Anck Su Namun says "Put on your mask, it would be a pity to scar that pretty face". At this time, she's stronger. But when Evy/Nefertiri scars Anck Su Namun's face, she understands Nefertiri became stronger. That's why she runs away...
