Economic equality? Nice phrase that hides the truth. At what point is the line drawn? Equally poor? How dare you have more than the poorest Haitian! No two things is this world are equal or have an equal chance. Not a leaf, not a tree. All a truly just society can guarantee are the basic individual rights granted to man by his nature (see US Constitution). It (should) guarantees everyone has the same rights and protections, with equal justice. The rest is up to you. The opportunity is yours.

mises was a lightweight who foolishly argued logic because he wasnt aware that real academic work had already proven his point. if it wasnt for hayek, who did real scholarly work, u wouldnt know who mises was.

P.S. You can never have true freedom without some basic level of economic equality. What would your libertarian candidates do to protect people from the tyranny of not having health insurance, or not having a warm bed to sleep in? Nothing. So how can they say they really support freedom?

No reason to give this comment thumbs down. But the tyranny that you speak of is referred to in economics as "shortages." When the state takes away resources and redistributes at fixed rates and prices then shortages occur. Not to mention the price fixing of money itself at the Federal Reserve. The state has no ability to solve these problems like a free people do, and trust me, the libertarian movement is about ending the wars before it's about kicking your grandma off social security.

When the government takes from those who have to give to those who have not, that is tyranny. And to believe that those who have (when not pillaged by the state) would not freely give to those who are deserving is suspect and ignorance. Governments take from those who are barely getting by

People shouldn't thumbs down comments with a different point of view. MLK, Jr. did have socialist tendencies, but so what? He didn't understand economics. He did have a heart and that's what this video captured. He and Kokesh both have a dream of freedom and peace. I know Kokesh understands the role of government in this battle to a better degree however. We all can learn from King and should never forget his efforts that did create cultural change. We can do the same in our own way though.
