FURTHERMORE, to prove you completely and utterly wrong, he has written some of the greatest Maiden songs EVER: Dance of Death, The Legacy and The Talisman. Shove that up your classic line-up. @sjgamble 3 songs. which on the scale of things, cant hold a torch to number of the beast, wasted years, or hallowed be thy name, to say an understated few. Nearly ALL of Iron Maidens highest acclaimed albums were from the pre-janick era, so dont even try to say somthing about the "classics" Even the solos that Janick does now are sloppy and random, with the exception of Fear of the Dark, because he doesnt try to be a speed demon (that he really cant be) on it. Adrian and Dave are FAR superior.

@gatta124 No he's written far more than that - and contributed far more writing material to the band than say, Dave Murray or Nicko Mcbrain. All four of the post-reunion albums are massively critically acclaimed, and you can't POSSIBLY claim that Janick was the only factor even if that was the case. Janick's solos may not be as credible as H's or Daves but he's still a fucking excellent guitarist - and brings SO much energy during a live show.
