All the points I was gonna make regarding dicing, use of BIG knives for chicken etc have already been made, so I'll just say that old-school scales + gas hob = I love your kitchen!
My flatmate won't actually touch raw chicken, if he's cooking, he bribes me to chop it for him! That's ok though, I get HIM to chop onions for me! :P
For a first try in the kitchen, not too shabby at all man. What was the recipe, by the way? It looked nice, I wanna try it! :P
It's a sieve :) And it definitely IS spectacular...except my american friends tell me I shouldn't call it by some other name. All those UK products (including the stove) are delightful. I love UK packaging, and UK faucets and you should show us what's in your fridge too. If you did a fridge video one time, like for my birthday :) ....haha
Well you won't make that chili powder mistake again will you? hah. This video was actually quite a bit more entertaining than I thought it would be. You did a pretty good job for someone who doesn't know much about cooking.
If we ever cook together, I will have to show you how to clean up as you go. Then kitchen only takes about ten minutes to clean, rather than two hours. I do have to say, things do get thrown off if you try to youtube at the same time.
looks like you did a good job, only way to know how much to put in food is to practice. that was nice of you, giving your family break from fixing dinner.
Great job, Chris! I can't cook to save my life. A couple comments: "Pasta drain-e-magiggy" = "colander", I believe. Also, you might want to wash your saucepans before using them -- who knows what could have been crawling around in there. It's a good thing no one saw that :-) But, all things considered, very impressive!
i ALWAYS forget to put salt when cooking stuff and sometimes i make the food too spicey as well. and i mesure things too because i can't estimate just by looking. and that wasn't a mess compared to how i leave the kitchen.
great video! i don't know how 8 min passed so fast...i have the same problem as wilsontech: i can't stand long videos (i also can't stand long comments=P)
That was brilliant, if you did a cooking show it would alaways be on the television.
Last time I tried to cook I dropped the pan of mince (I was making lasagne) onto my foot and the cat was ill from eating it off the floor. I still have a scar on my foot from the burn :(
Wow I actually watched the whole thing! I rarely do that on long videos. I REALLY enjoyed this! It was funny and interesting all together! I loved the part where you passed out after eating the chikcken, lol! 1 and a 1/2 tablespoons, HAHA!! Superb!
You actually did a really good job; the chili pepper was just the hilarious part, haha! I fav'd this because the camera work was well done and your personality shone thru!
Minus the string of constant profanity, Gordon Ramsay's got nothing on you! There is so much to like about this video. Fantastic fun! Favorited and 5*'s just for the dicing!
I have a tough time cooking because of the instructions. For instance, if the recipe reads "separate two eggs," I put on on the back porch and one in the living room.
what a brave family you have LMAO...it actually looked pretty good. Which of your parents drove to McDonalds that evening?

Whenyou peel onions, cut off the two ends and cut the onion in half, then the peel comes off quite easily.
