I'm Kind of surprised to see so many negative comments here. I mean Chuck doesn't go through everything about airlesses here, but I don't think that that is what he was going for in this video. I thought he gave a pretty good explanation on the basic operation of this unit for someone who has never worked with one of these machines before.
What he didn't say was that you should never ever put your hand in front of the paint nozzle. Skin penetration is deadly and usualy results in amputation or death.
It all depends on the thickness of the paint and what kind of application. It should say right on the label of the paint can how much and what kind of thinner to use for the product. Standard latex doesn't need to be thinned down for instance, but a heavy duty metal primer has to be unless you want to destroy your sprayer
@a1coyotefan 1 quart of Flowtrol, Penetrol, or what have you per 5 gallon pail is usually enough. never thin with water. Thin oil/alkyd with mineral spirits.
thank you so much for this video... I'm becoming a contractor here in arkansas to paint apartments and I only paint with edgers, brushes, and rollers. I'm looking to improve my speed and skill in getting my job done so I looked into paint spray guns but I couldn't find much info on them or how to use them. This information is very helpful. :)

30 amps on a washer? dryer yes but not 110 It would use 240 voltrs and would require a different plug end. How do you do it??

Yeah, I'm going to take tips from someone who never cleans his equipment.
And I thought you were going to "Show us how to use an airless" You just described (YOUR) airless. How many of us own that exact airless? NOT MANY!
It's called PRIMING not bypassing.
An airless doesn't "SUCK AIR" if it gets air it shuts off or goes into prime automaically.
You are just trying to advertise your compay with BOGUS TIPS!
