NES Longplay [100] Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (Part 2 of 2)

I recently re-got this game because i was ripped off by ninty, now because of this exelent playtrough im gonna finally finish this beast..

Back when i was like 8 this game was way to hard..

When i was 15 me and a friend played it three days straight.. not getting to the end..

Love this game! Own three copies of it now.. Whoopee..

this was the only legend of zelda game that I could not beat with out help.. I used the game genie.. everyone should realize just how hard this game is

@RNorthex for some reason I think it's the opposite.. but i think the original is more fun to play.. just for the dungeons alone.. but both are great games.. actually the whole franchise is epic

That last dungeon is big. I used to go one route all the time and I didn't know it had all of those rooms.

A lot of online game walkthroughs and faqs referred to a technique called the TILAI (treat it like an ironknuckle) which supposedly made the game easier.

The TILAI is the dropping stab used on the iron knuckles, done at the right time, hits the head and the legs making a sure hit on a blocking enemy... and you use it with such finesse Valis77...

I just hope you take the time to see the fans you're racking up here.

Thanks for an awesome Longplay, as much as I love the Zelda series and played Zelda II when I was 7. It was just an impossible game but I still kept going back to it! The last time I remember playing I managed to get to the big boss with the Ball and chain and kept dying. :(

But excellent work Valis! I know it's not much but many thanks for the dedication to make the long play. :)

Essentially new game+ in some sense.

I think you have to go back to all of the palaces. This time, you retain everything (can't remember about spells. Levels do carry over.)

@TheRagnarokSeeker i like the japanese version because you can customize your lvls ^_^ the bad part is that when you lose all your lives, it lowers the lvl by half
