  • they look like small insects lol

  • From this map, I would make the assumption that the bulk of pilot-in-training's knowledge comes from learning how to avoid other planes in 35,000 feet. I guess being a pilot is not as fun as I once thought it was...

  • @jnyerere Well, if you are a pilot, you are being separated from other aircraft by a controller. So really as long as they are doing their job, you should be fine concentration on just flying the plane. Also minimum separation standards are 5 miles in En Route airspace. These traffic is primarily commercial flights that have been tracked by the FAA. General aviation pilots may not be on this map. Since they fly using visual flight rules, then they have a primary focus of see-and-avoid.

  • @rp1226 which brings us to the final question: which job is harder? the pilot's or the air traffic controller's?

  • @jnyerere if pay is any indication... air traffic controller.

  • aaa!! me head :|

  • I'm shocked that California doesn't have bigger clump.

  • do we really need to fly around that much?

  • it's like mold spreading. :0

if we ever do run out of oil....we are fuuuucked

  • did a 5 year old draw this map of the usa

  • @xoxoclandestinexoxo that is how the airspace is drawn. Those aren't state lines, but actually the lines of ARTCC boundaries. Check it out on Wikipedia.

  • Looks like a bug infestation.

  • looks disgusting

  • BEEEEEESSSSSS

  • All that pollution :(

  • Maglev... Maglev i'm telling you.

  • You can tell dawn is coming from this vid

  • the united states dosnt look like that?

  • how many jets are flying around around the world at anyone time? why do some days we see one evry 2 hours and some days 5 to 6 or 7 8 9 10 in the sky at anyone time turning the hole sky grey? why do neary all jets Not produce long white contrails or chemtrails at night? How many jets are operating around the world?

  • ONE SUPERVIRUS AND WERE ALL SCREWED

  • Boston tower, mayday, this is... -Shut the hell up, I have 500000 flights on screen down here, if you don't know what to do, turn left heading 190 and crash in the woods!!!

  • Boston Center this is...

    SHUTUP!!!!!

  • haha north west its all time fly amazing vid.....

  • Roaches!

  • @___@ this is ATC over this is ATC over again omg to many people on the map mayday mayday lol throws microphone on the ground.

  • looks like ants

  • North East is jumping

  • @paredesamour they are today, and they will for a while. Even with a redesign of the airspace, the northeast just has too much traffic. That includes international!

  • @rp1226 Well that would make sense, the north east is the most populated region in the US, and is a major stop-off-point from Europe.

  • You can tell the hubs(Major Airports) LAX, SFO, ORD, Philly, Atlanta, etc.

  • @jetBlueAirwaysA320 yeah, you are right about that. You might want to also check out what changes are proposed with the FAA to try to move forward with delays that is associated with Air Traffic Control.

  • @jetBlueAirwaysA320 just look at my videos and go to Evolving Technologies for NextGen.

  • this is amazing...i never realized there were so many planes up in the air all at once. Gives me a whole new respect for the industry.

  • Could all those with detailed knowledge of aviation please visit the chemtrail videos and teach those gullible paranoid morons about aviation physics and reality.

    Thanks

  • Cool

  • Rudenko3 obviously missed out on any sort of decent education to make a comment like that. It's not entirely Rudenko3's fault. His parents are probably brother and sister and his "classroom" was at the other end of the trailer being used as a meth lab. Apparently geography was not a relevant topic.

  • @reedy1269 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA harsh but funny as hell.

  • Umm thats not America its some lines and dashes of yellow light, go study geography then come back please.

  • @Rudenko3 Yes that is America those lines are the boudaries to the 23 artcc's and the yellow lights are ifr flights.

  • Those borders you see is America. Its Airspace borders that you see. not the land

  • It looks like fire :p

  • Yes!!! Burn more fuel!! Yes!!

  • Look how busy ZOB is all the time

  • if anything is killing our Ozone layer its this. we are totally a virus. poor earth

  • I'm with you on that 2Mo0N, we are a virus killing the earth and self destructing...

  • Sometimes i think, we are like a virus on earth..

  • OMG I applied for this job! the stress that goes for this!

  • well... East coast is the best.

  • If that's what you think......The East Coast is horrible. You can keep it...and please stay away from the beautiful West.

  • West coast is horrible too, especially Cali!

    You must work for Skywest.....

  • Used to work for SkyWest....I'm at a major now based in New York and there is ABSOLUTELY no comparison at all between the West Coast and the East Coast (NY)....it is horrible flying up there. The Air Traffic Controllers think they are the best, the airspace is laid out horribly, and as soon as a drop of rain appears 300 miles to the west, we get slowed down 200 miles out or put into holds. No thank you. I'm forced to be there so I deal with it but the West Coast is heaven compared to the east

  • I can't argue with you about that, the east Coast does seem like a mess when it comes to air traffic....

  • It is man....it can and does get pretty nasty sometimes....check that....all the time....lol.

  • Untrue.....mandatory retirement is 56 and we have controllers at Cleveland Center that range in age from 22 to mid 60's (PATCO rehires). There is a large bubble eligible to retire, but replacements are in the pipeline.

  • FAA is about to have a crisis. The generation that came to the FAA to replace the ground controllers that were fired by Reagan are all turning 57 this year, and are required to retire. There are not very many new people coming into the profession.

  • Yes I know exactly what you are talking about. I am a contractor for the FAA and we are looking into this issue and many others that will affect the FAA and the NAS. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • Wait...everyone is the same age and are all turning 57? Seems a bit far-fetched, to me...

  • @amoignis1987 That's true, but looking at the controller workforce, a lot of them are not just retiring, but moving to other jobs. They are SMEs (subject matter experts) for a lot of companies and the government themselves.

  • wow amazing

  • Fake. I don't think this is real because most airplanes aren't even yellow.

  • how's this fake lmao .

  • :D:D lol

  • LOL

  • its a depiction on a NASA program you silly sasuage :)

  • @brucewalker67 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL what a comment

  • to bad the stupid FAA didn't start hiring new ATC's 5 yrs ago when NATCA warned them.... i feel sorry for the guys working now

  • Yeah I know what you mean. This is just the beginning, based on the FAA's own prediction and their plan to "fix" the NAS. LOL

    good stuff.
