i heard that even leather jackets fade uner sunlight. i live in Los angeles California and its almost always hot and sunny. would white leather be better for my weather condition? i dont really want mesh and nylons . just genuine leather jackets

@o0jun0o I don't think so. White jackets, typically get dirty very quickly. I ride constantly in my Dainese Newsan and I have not noticed a thing. If you left it on the dash of your car, every day for extended periods of time, I am sure it would fade. Anything would. Reasonable exposure to LA Sun will be fine on a jacket of this calibre.

Just make sure to care for it &you'll get years of riding with it. white will show dirt splatter/bugs/mud very fast. moist rag & wipe.

I have 4 dainese jackets. 1-7YO, a laguna seca/new tattoo &rapture jackets. I used to have 2 alpinestars but gave them to my brother.I would buy alpinestars if they made flagship jackets w/o the speed hump. I moved from a 08 gixxer 1k to a 09 tmax &speed hump looks out of place. get the cleaning/protection kit by dainese through revzilla and youre good

why do the models wearing the jackets you review so skinny. The jackets never seem to fit them well. way too baggy. the guy on the left should really show the jacket off..

Hey RevZilla, i'm looking at getting a dainese jacket and i wanted to get the newsan or racing but they are not perforated and for this one i like the perforation but i dont like racing hump. Would i still be able to comfortably wear a backpack with the racing hump?

@greendaydkms Backpacks and speed humps do not mix :-/ I am looking into a full perf'd summer option. I wear a 2009 Newsan Perf'd In Black, but I know they are all gone. Also anything that has stretch panels around the inside of the arms / neck will flow air. Stay tuned.

deciding weather to get the new delmar jacket with pants or the alpinestar rc1 jacket and trackpants. in your opinion which suit is your fav in terms of safety, style, comfort etc..

@Supremebeing4 Yo Supreme! The Astars and Dainese should be in the same ballpark in protection. With regard to fit and comfort, they are both race / agressive fit but are not cut form the same mold, so without seeing your body type its tough to talk futher about fit or even comfort. As far as style goes, Astars makes amazing stuff. Think of the RC-1 as a 1098. The Dainese is downright exotic. Think Desmosedici exotic :-) Hope this helps.

Hi Supreme - the shot we use in this video is of the "White" color scheme. The black with white accents is "Black/white" scheme.

I wear a 52 Dainese Jacket although my legs are thinner than my upper body so a 52 in a suit leaves me a little extra room in the legs. I am probably closer to a 50 in the pants. I am 5'9 175lbs but really broad in the shoulders for my size. I wear a 43-44 suit jacket but wear 32/32 Jeans. - Let me know if this helps.
