  • Oh wow..! Speakin ofchildhood memories..! =D I used to watch this as well when I was a 'lil kid'..

  • How coooooooool

  • I also watched this a lot, think I was about 7 years old. But I actually created a trauma because of one episode where Jojo goes scubadiving. He got tightened up under water and his airpipe is cut... brrrr.. terrible.. guess I was too young to watch that kind of scenes. At what age was it aimed, do you think?

  • There were 2 series of Runaway Bay, both of 13 episodes each.

I have vhs to DVD transfers of about 16 episodes, the picture + sound quality varies from 6.0 - 8.5 out of 10.00. (in english)

Great series, great potential but never fully realised, episodes needed to be developed more but great fun to watch.

  • @zarathustraGRR hey do you have the files to share or download??

  • @zarathustraGRR

    Hi!

Cant you upload them to the internet? Im sure many people, including me, would love to have them!

    Thanks!

    Gordon

  • @Gordond180

Hi there. Simple answer is I don't have a lot of access to the internet, only for a few mins a day. Don't have internet at home or on my phone (it's just a phone!!!!). Can't be bothered with poor quality video uploads,

if people really like Runaway Bay then buy the 16.75 episodes from me for £10.00 GBP (includes postage) and enjoy it in normal quality. Any money made goes on buying bits or fragments of old series so I can restore incomplete episodes of "lost" series. Cheers

  • Dang, I've looked for this show on youtube to see if anyone else watched this when there were young. I remember seeing this show and loving the ending song when I was 7 now I'm 26 a long time. Man that brings back memories!!

  • lol like miami vice

  • Those were the days. When CITV appealled to everyone, Not just Kids aged 9 and under like it does now.

When I was little, I was forever watching the dramas aimed at the older kids that were on during CITV's 4:40pm block(Children's Ward, The Oasis, Eye of The Storm, The 90s version of the Tommorow People etc.)

They couldn't make a quality drama like that nowadays.

  • man that brings me way back, you gotta love a good nostalgic trip down memory lane, who remembers the girl fron tomorrow
