I've had this phone for about a month now. I have had terrible experience with touch screen phones but I have no problems with this one. There are a lot of negative reviews out there for this phone so I feel I must stress a few things; 1st, if you are a heavy app user, this phone is not for you. 2nd, you will need to purchase a larger MicroSD card. And finally, you need to know how to preserve a battery charge, it's incredibly simple but most people are too lazy to figure it out. GOOGLE IT.

My phone holds a charge for days at a time, with heavy usage. Also, @Fran1080p I definitely agree, that is a huge problem and the only major one I've come across. The rest of the "issues" can be chalked up to personal taste.

Great little phone got mine from Amazon today, strangely I did have a problem at first when incoming calls came in, it would answer the calls without touching the phone :S However the problem seems to have gone now. So no complaints, great little phone!

this phone is decent but I returned mine under 30days because I couldn't deal with the very poor internal memory and some of the pre installed bloatware is horrible and you can't even move to them to the SD card so very poor internal memory, the only way to fix this is by rooting the device

@mikromiksu well the wildfire S battery is.. not bad. it can last up to 4 days if u leave it standby, texting, calling, not using music player, apps store, playing apps and using the browser via Wifi. But if u do all of those, it may last for only 1-3days :P its really up to u :)

I've had this phone for 7 months now, I can honestly say I love it and hate it soooo much. I love it because it's little, has awesome widgets and apps and is easy to use. I hate it beacuse it has such a small in phone storage, my phone is constantly freezing, deleting contacts, and the top menu bar disappears for hours and sometimes doesn't come back. I also find it has a very short battery life. I'm lucky to get over 12 hours out of it. It is sturdy though, I've dropped it many times still aok!

Overall its really a good phone for teens like me ;D

@ChuckNorris449 if u want it to be free u can connect to wifi , also there is a very nice feature called internet pass through that allows u to connect wildfire to your computer with usb and u can use internet on the phone if u dont have wifi...and it is free because it is using internet from your pc :)

everyone asking whether to get ace or wildfire s:

ace sucks, its horrible i have one. the good side is that it's almost indestructible, up to getting run over by a car which i did, but it still works kinds. but it is honestly so slow and the texting on it is horrible. it feels cheap. with the Wildfire S at least you get HTC sense which means you can locate your phone and stuff like that

@Spyralish IMHO, the samsung is much faster. It has 200MHz more. I like this phone cause of Sense, but the phone itself is also slow. have you also got the wildfire S? It's not faster, i swear. I got gio myself (almost similar to ace). But if you are able to spend more money, go for galaxy s plus or something. This phones are not very fast. :(

IT Does lags when playing angry birds... but it lags unfrequently. see galaxy ace when using it to play angry birds, u cant even play the first lvl, cuz it hangs and lags like mad! the wildfire S benchmark is higher than  the ace's. so there is nothing to complain abt it. BEAR IN MIND ITS ONLY 600MHZ.

I have this phone, and it runs games pretty smoothly. However, if you root it and then overclock the processor, it works so much better. Ive overclocked mine to 800ghz and the battery life is still basically the same, with no glitches or problems.

No.... I'm watching this video on my wildfire s, and because I'm a teenager, it gets very heavy usage. I didn't find however, that it slows down with multitasking, and the keyboard is just something to get used to. Like how I typed this on portrait mode. One of the things that i do need to complain about is the memory. The phones memory comes already full of undeletable applications I never use. I have to clean out space in my memory a few times a week. (I do have an SD card, which helps a lot.)

k i have this phone .. omg i wish i didn't get it liek no offence to the company and all .. but like its so slow, i've had it for more than 3 months now and i still cant text the way i want to like it lags so the words don't show up as fast and like i'll press a certain letter on the keypad and it'll write a diferent letter, i dunno the problem is only when i text like its impossible, i liked texting with my old phone that had an actual keypad .. ugh its so hard to text on this phone !!

@ThaWeeknd If you have facebook, you can sync their facebook profiles to your contacts and it will show not only your contacts numbers, but it will also show they're picture and their latest facebook statues. But for those who do not use facebook, you should still be able to see their name and contact infor when sending a text.
