  • Yep, they are sighted in with the bayonet extended, and they can be off as much as a foot at 100 yards with them closed. Some rifles aren't, seems to depend on the rifle. Where is that range? Never seen anything like that.

    I'm from germany, and the range shown in this video is in Berlin.

    It's one of the bigger ranges where you can shoot from IPSC, to 300meters rifle.

    We don't have as many open shooting ranges in germany than you have probably in the US.

    The government agencys have very strict rules how a shooting range must be designed, regarding safe backstops, proper air ventilation, noise controll for the enviroment and so on.

    Also is private legal gun ownership less common than in the USA.

  • Not sure if you care or not, but I've heard from a few sources that the guns are sighted in and meant to be fired with the bayonet extended. Something about barrel harmonics or something. I've heard it can make the bullets land a foot off at a hundred yards.
