To everyone saying Mithos' Final form is anticlimactic and uneeded: It very much is so. The machine Mithos is in is representive of the Three Essences of Darkness.

The Fugitive, judged, and neglected because Mithos' darkness consumed him. All three of these are representitive of him. He's a fugitive for running away from his problems, and A coward for his actions. He's neglected because of his status as a half elf, that nobody wanted him, And judged for his actions against humanity.

That's just f***ed up. That's like having a very hard boss and getting him to around maybe 500 HP left and then he pulls some random attack out of his ass that f***s your entire party up. Happened to me with Evrae in FFX. He had around 400 HP left, next attack would have killed him but then he used Poison Breath killing two characters and use Stone Gaze on the last one. I f***ed him up my next attempt.

.... you got owned lol. here's a hint to easily beating him. [yes, its a him >.>] do the devil's arms side quest. every kill you make with or without, it gets stronger. you may not see it in your status thing, but try it in battle. i was lvl 120, and did 10,000 damage a hit with Lloyd. I literally killed the last boss in machine mode in 6 hits, before any of my allies could touch him lol

actually that was funny..I checked your attack on mithos and you dealed less damage than your group did..the material blades are light attribute weapoms ..if you had the valkyrie sabers or the kusanagi blades then you could have faired out ..but if you had leveled lloyd properly or used guardian ..it'll be just your team that fallen..

anyway you wanna know something unexpected..after fighting kratos for the first time then right after ..this bastard whats his name..low hp and everthing..!

@sonic26000 ok when lloyld is in red health, have the eternal apprentice title on (or around that name) and have the material blades on as well. When thats all done press A,B, and X at the same time and you'll do falcons crest.

As for genis its a lot easier, just use indignation 50 times then get him in over limit then use indignation and then bam indignate judgment.

@tunder545 don't need the eternal swordsman title on but you need to have it. colette has her's in the gc too. similar to genis, she needs to use holy song and judgement 50 times each and be in overlimit to do -????- a.k.a. holy judgement.

You don't need to be in overlimit to do Holy Judgment. It can be done at any time. It is, however, random, though this can be manipulated very easily.

I pretty much all the tale's games theres some kinda "cursed" weapons. In TOS it's the "Devils arms" while in TOTA its "Cataclysm weapons"

For each kill you make with them it does an extra point of damage up to a maximum of 9999 a swing

The devil's arms "1 + power after each monster kill" activates after Abyssion is dead.

and you have to make kills per character using any weapon.

like I said if you transfer battle data over via grade shop the kills per character should transfer.

But assuming each battle is 5 monsters each you'd have to do 2000ish battles to get 9999 kills PER character

the same thing sort of happened to me on GC version i was fighting him on mania and i got him done to about 5000 hp left and he went to to over limet mode so i was like ok W/E 2 secs later he cast a spell and he says DIE and i thought it was gonna be holy lance... well genis walk up to him for some reason (i hate when the pc does that) and BOOM i here INDIGNATION JUDGMENT and my whole party died cuz it did like 15k damage and i was sitting there for like 2 mins thinking WOW are you serious

I was fighting him on Mania mode (i lost) @ lv. 75 and he didnt use indig. Judgement! Took him to his 2nd form then i was out of life bottles and bam i lost!!! Mithos on Mania is not that hard it just takes efficiency with the life bottles and beasting him down that REALLY helps! i suggest instead of using raining tiger blade as a Lv3 tech, use Tempest Beast, it does alot of damage and it knocks him down!!! giving you PLEANTY OF TIME TO HEAL!!! i wont beat it cuz i need more grade 4 Grade Shop!!

I've seen Beast Sword Rain hit more and do more damage than Tempest Beast, though. But, agreed, anything with Beast is great for buying time to heal or use some gels.

The fact he uses a united attack with Zelos, Presea means that even if he did knock him down with a beast, it wouldn't hold. The end of unison stun (Where he kneels) would overwrite it.

Well, that was cheap! If I had a dollar for every time I've tripped at the proverbial finish line like that, I'd be at least a little richer than I am now.
