Michigan CPS is very corrupt along with the private adoption agencies they sell the children to. I hope you can resue them. My grandchildren are in an abusive foster home that I have been trying to get them out of, I work in a busy ER in large metropolitian area, I deal with drug addicts and all types of people but have have never seen anything as corrupt as what I have delt with in Michigan. I never would have believed it until it happened in my family.
I write representatives about you all the time honey but they are too busy with their other agendas. I will keep writing them and I will start posting the information and letters on here. I love you all very much!

It's disgusting what these so-called 'child-protectors' do to families. I went through the 'care' system from birth to 18 yrs old and wow there are some very malevolent people in those jobs. I hope with all my heart you get your son back asap, you have a beautiful family, they have no right to destroy that Laura.
But why are removals and placement occurring so quickly? Children have to not only be removed but placed with a foster parent in order to receive valuable federal funds through Title IV-E of the Social Security Act. Due to funding incentives direct relative placement becomes less likely where a jurisdiction suffers budgetary issues and a highly-adoptable (younger and more attractive) child enters the system. .
It is more profitable to encourage foster placement than direct relative placement because of the incentivization of negative outcomes in our nation's foster care policies and system.

The State of Michigan fails its children whether they are stuck in foster care homes or involved in child-custody disputes between parents. Large federal block grants repeatedly compromise and sway the discretion of family court judges in Michigan.
CPS is the most evil entity on earth - they lie, fabricate evidence, bully and coerce parents and children, and DO NOT care one bit about children. They are destroying families, children, and civilization.
We now have unconstitutional "family courts" where every actor, including the "judge" is part of the "prosecution team". The court-appointed attorneys do not offer anything resembling a "vigorous defense"- unlike what happened on behalf of the FLDS in Texas.
If people commit a crime against a child, then it should be treated as a CRIME, not as SORT OF a civil lawsuit.
It's time that our legislator limit the discretion of judges, cps workers, and the family court to ensure that only true neglect and abuse cases are pursued by government employees.

Second, for those of you who don't know, this another case that is being strongly supported by organized family activists due to gross neglect of power from DHS. Read this families story, please. The abusive power of DHS is cannot be corrected by using their channels. We all have to speak up. Do not trust DHS. Trust your gut instinct when feel something is wrong. Get the word out to everyone. Write letters, e-mail, whatever it takes.
