Yeah, that yellow was okay. But the other two times I've seen him try that shot on television, he missed the ball he was going for, with the rest sticking up in the air. Once was in the premier league, and it actually cost him the frame.

I understand where he's coming from, because that shot is harder with the spider than it is with the rest, but it's basically just stupid.

Very surprised Ronnie didn't use the spider when potting the yellow. At that point Stuart was only 23 points down, and if Ronnie missed, Bingham could easily have made the clearance. @thrilospantou i think ronnie is the best in world, when he has a frame wrapped up. however under pressure, ronnie is vulnerable. i can take you back to countless matches where ronnie was coasting, and his arsehole fell out. 7-1 up against hunter in the masters, 4-0 up against higgins in masters, 7-2 up against ebdon in world champs. Best player in world in terms of ability but lack of mental strength, means you never know which ronnie will turn up
