  • This is an impeachable act by the President of the United States. Canada will now rescind the NAFTA treaty with Mexico.

  • Let's look at the gun smuggling with logic and facts yes damn American pistols and semi auto rifles go to Mexico unlawfully, they also go their legally through legal arms sales to Mexican federal police and military, thats why anti gunners claim most guns in mexico originate from the US, stockpiles of m16s and law rockets grenades etc are left over from the south American wars, corruption in Guatemalan,Venezuelan, and especially Mexican armys are a major source of the heavy weapons FN fals,m16s,G

  • Are Gov Arms Criminals to come up with excuses to strip us of our rights. Corruption its the new American way.

  • Fast and Furious hmmm now you see who is the biggest supplier?

  • The media will nt respond to this because it exposes the Leftist Policies of the Current Dictator of the USA.Holder and Obama sold them to them to try to use this as evidence to reform the 2nd amendment. They should both be thrown in Prison for the people that died from this. FOX is the only media that even questions this.

  • Eric Holder and Carlos Pascual are terrorists

  • SSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

    Look at Kim Kardashan's butt.

  • @1dirkmanchest

    No doubt...

    "panem et circenses"

  • not only are we making them tons of money by criminalizing marijuana but we just gave them a ton of assault weaopons

  • its ridiculous how the facts are sitting right in peoples faces and they just turn a blind eye towards it!!!a mexican drug cartel war that was basically started by the US..who knows how long they have been bringing guns to mexico

  • I'll trust a Federal Department like the ATF more than a Corporation such as the NRA anyday, the Federal Order hasnt failed me yet :p.

  • "We were fully aware that guns would probably be moved across the border to drug cartels where they could be used to KILL".

Umm... So what other purpose do guns have than to kill?! That is some insanely, bull-shitted, asinine thing to say. That's similar as saying medical supplies were being moved to another region to save lives. That's it's purpose! Just as guns are used, for whoever didn't know, to KILL!!

  • The ATF wanted Mexico to melt down. So they could blame US gun dealers.

Then they could clap down on the 2nd amendment. Our government is so crooked.

  • Fuck the atf...

  • I wonder... is it possible to a news reporter to say the word "rifle" without attaching the word "assault"?

  • BUSH'S PEOPLE- ILLEGAL ACTIVITY IN 2003. THEY R KEEPING IT QUIET. MURDERS. DOJ,ICE,DHS INVOLVED IN BUSH'S CASE.>"THE HOUSE OF DEATH CASE."

    NEED TO DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY.

LISTEN AT THE END WHERE SHE SAYS, "THE DOJ SAYS, THE ATF HAS NEVER KNOWINGLY ALLOWED THE SALE OF ASSAULT WEAPONS",

    WHAT LIARS.

THE DOJ,THEMSELVES ARE INVOLVED IN THIS.

WHY EVEN BOTHER TO GET THEIR STATEMENT-THEY R THE ACCUSED.

CALL YOUR REPS-TELL THEM U WANT ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THIS OPERATION & BUSH' S-"THE HOUSE OF DEATH CASE"

  • Wow...if this shit doesn't stir the American people out of their coma and demand the guilty Govt officials are held accountable...then the Govt most definitely has gone rogue in which case we all better be buying lots of weapons because we are going to need them to defend ourselves against pure tyranny and lawlessness.

  • That is no where near enough to do any lasting effect on this situation. Also as the economy gets worse how long do you think those jobs will be available

  • This is How you destry the Mexican economy and stability

  • Criminal fucking GOV

  • Infowars Nightly News Inaugural Broadcast with Alex Jones: Gun Running Scandal Threatens to Bring Down Obama: Larry Pratt, director of Gun Owners of America, joins Alex to talk about Operation Fast and Furious, the covert ATF effort to arm murderous Mexican drug cartels and blame it on the Second Amendment

  • @exposetruthwolf

There was other illegal activities & murders(IN MEXICO)that took place under Bush,WITH HIS ADMINISTRATIONS KNOWLEDGE. I just happened across it by chance. It is called "THE DEATH CASE". I'M PISSED THAT THEY HAVE KEPT IT QUIET FOR SO LONG.(SINCE 2003-2004)

I'M TRYING TO SPREAD THE WORD.

WHY HASN'T CONGRESS DONE THEIR JOB?

CALL YOUR REPS & MENTION BOTH CASES.

IT INVOLVES THE DOJ,ICE, AND HOMELAND SECURITY,ALL INVOLVED WITH ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES OVER THE BORDER.

  • dang i hope the American public realizes its the US that one of the main problems to the cause of the drug war providing them with weapons and the murders of innocent Mexican lives while the cartels use American weapons, as a Mexican American im not considered and American but a Minority in my opinion this is a cowardly and careless act towards the people of Mexico

  • @1roiboi

Hyphenated names invite segregation... To me, if you are an American citizen, and you live here, then you are an American (period). Calling yourself anything other than American is not being fair to yourself - you invite the very segregation you speak of - unless that is what you desire.

To your point about this BATF act being cowardly and careless - I agree 100%. I believe Obama and Holder are tied in with this -they need to be held accountable for their involvement and face trial

  • @fargley001 well i know thats not going to happen they are probly just going to apologize and find a "solution" for this problem but then again the drug cartels should be held accountably aswell seriously the US should take over Mexico. My grandfather who is a WW2 vet. a survivor off Utah Beach born and raised in Mexico told me in spanish "the hell with Mexico, i fought for a country that represented pride and freedom" not drugs or corruption

  • @fargley001 Very well said. Glad to see at least one person on youtube has some sence

  • @1roiboi nah ! better to blame others for our own weakness !! heaven forbid we keep our kids off drugs !!!

  • @1roiboi -

Fact: The US Gov did this without the American people. Fact; Hillary was spreading the lie that it was the American people that were responsible for illegal guns to Mexico when in fact it was the 'Fast and Furious program of the Obama Administration itself that was breaking the law. Read it for yourself, look up Fast and Furious with ATF in the search. Post the truth, and don't propagate the lies...

  • @fuzzenaval

    Indeed - check out /watch?v=AYTJlZbMerk

    It was all premeditated...

  • SAY NO TO DRUGS PLEASE

  • Don' worry next week Los Alamos will ship 20 tons of purified Uranium to Iran LMAO!!!!

  • @CBAsystems

As long as its deemed a "humanitarian effort", they pretty much do whatever they damn well please.

  • @fargley001 Sad but very true ---sending over 10 warheads for humanitarina effort>>> "Hurray"!

  • This is the new water gate or is it just the on going policy of the feds. Since the contra scandal there was a realization of the amount of money involved in the drug business.

  • ruby ridge and waco were the shit good job ooo s a

  • Seizing guns from law abiding citizens and turning them over to feds who give them to drug lords to kill border guards. I hope these bastards burn in hell.

  • FUCK THAT FEDERAL AGENT... WHAT ABOUT THE THOUSANDS OF INOCENT PEOPLE IN MEXICO GETTING KILLED? WHY ARE THEY LESS HUMAN? WHY IS IT EVERYBODY IS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THAT ONE PERSON?

  • @ichan83a

It was the death of that federal agent that brought this whole thing to light... I dont think anyone has argued value of life here - over another - who are you directing your rage at?

The ATF, and possibly Eric Holder/Barack Obama are responsible for thousands of deaths. If you want to direct rage at someone, do so at those parties responsible. Not Agent Terry.

  • @ichan83a thats how a white guy's brain work.....it's in their blood.....

  • @ichan83a this is the USA, stupid fuck...if you want to be concerned about a bunch of low life beaners in Mexico then get your fucking ass to Mexico

  • This is all because the US wants to destabilize mexico so they would eventually have to "rescue" us. This is all about oil... just like Iraq. I saw this comming from a mile away. Fucking american pigs.

  • what if they traded the guns for drugs and this is a smokescreen...sound familiar?

  • Eric Holder and lying Obama should be extradited to Mexico to stand trial for their crimes.

  • OR Mexicans steal guns and walk them back into Mexico...

  • Ahahahahahahahaha semi automatics? Please. In Africa SELECT FIRE weapons are everywhere. Asia too. Yet you people complain about what the US is selling? Are you blind to the actions of Russia and China? Or Eastern Europe? Our "allies" sell guns to the very people our boys fight, yet we do nothing. We should solve THAT problem before we start freaking about inferior firearms being brought to Mexico.

  • They let this happen so they can say they have PROOF that gun crime in Mexico is due to lax gun control laws in the USA--- then pass more gun laws.

When the government does everything they can to ensure that the Mexicans get guns from the USA they cant in turn use this to call for stricter gun control in the USA.

    Its illogical.

  • Lets not forget, the ATF sent some 3000 guns to Mexico, with hopes they would be able to trace them. How did it work out ATF? Look it up.

  • THE US GOVERNMENT IS JUST ANOTHER CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION.

  • AMERICA,CHINA,RUSSIA are some of the biggest gun traffikers. No its not bad we do it and get money out of it, we sell our own weapons to people around the world it happens every day and our own country does it. And for everyone talking about gangsters.. seriously ?? you have ot be kidding, PS Mexico imports drugs every day into the US and the government lets them because they make money out of it, if the US really wanted to get rid of drugs they wouldve done it along time ago but no they profit!

  • The ATF WANTS to arm the cartels. This isn't mere unwise policy. Read Mike Levine's books, "The Big White Lie" & "Deep Cover." As an exDEA agent, he documented direct DEA involvement in backing the Latin American cartels. This is shadow government OFFICIAL policy. The NWO shadow gov controls the cartels & INTERNATIONAL drug trade. Why wouldn't the ATF spooks be doing their part to arm assets? Cross border gun trafficking/violence supports the anti-2nd Amendment agenda as well.

  • the whole gringo goverment system is FUCKKKED UP....the whole educational system is fuckkked up to begin with.....THESE ARE THE RESULTS.....DON'T COMPLAIN AND DO WHAT YOUR GOVERMENT TELLS YOU TO...

  • @Fr33d0m4a11

This is why the government HATES the internet. They have control of the mainstream media, and just about every other avenue of communication - the internet is the last free frontier. We gotta use it while we got it!

  • @Fr33d0m4a11

I have to agree with you to a point. Stossel did a good piece on privacy and secrecy. Wikileaks has really been a factor in exposing our government. We now see the government embracing opportunities to create conspiracies - they have the means to debunk, yet they intentionally let them fester in order to use the late arriving "truth" as a political tool.

    .

Bradley Manning however, has about as much blame in this as those who gave him access.

  • WHERE'S THE MEDIA OUTRAGE?? BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF, IF IT WAS BUSH THE MEDIA WOULD CALL FOR HIM TO BE INDICTED FOR MURDER, BUT WHY DOES OBAMA GET TO SKATE? YOU PEOPLE ARE HYPOCRITES TO THE ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM.

  • @whiterabbit911 there are other forces at work, they make places like yahoo post front pager stories on Kim Karsashain lipstick color than important things like why the govt is allowing weapons to be sold to TERRORIST

  • Look out for another video people. Wikileaks just released some information indicating that the president knew full well he was spreading misinformation about the source of so called "smuggled guns". They do originate from the US, but they apparently were distributed by the Mexican Army.

    Gotta love free speech!

  • I happen to own a couple of AKs built out of AMERICAN parts. 1 is a mixed build the other is 100% MADE IN THE USA. Both are fine weapons, very fun to shoot, tough as nails and cost me half as much as a similar AR setup. keep your over priced plastic AR kbuhbye. Concerning this video...this only deepens my concern for the total lack of oversight and irresponsiblility going on at the ATF. They could not have screwed up Waco anymore... and now this. the ATF serriously needs to check itself.

  • the ATF should be charged for the broader patrol officers' death. why is it that when criminals gets kill in a shootout with police their co-defendant get charge with 187. It's unacceptable to let ATF do whatever they want. just like dumping gasoline on fire waiting to see what will happen.

  • The moral itz,-Never under no zirkunztanze truzt the U.Z.A. Goverment, the whole world muzt be in alert!!!!zheck all their zhipmentz!!!dont truzt even the amerikan red krozz, itz all bullzhit!!!

  • Does anyone actually believe the cartels need to get semi-auto AKM's from the US when real AKM's can be obtained easily on the world market? Has anyone watched the battles between the cartels and the Mexican Army? Those auto AKM's and rocket propelled grenades aren't from the US. The administration has done exactly what it set out to do, establish a link between cartels and US guns. This "scandal" was deliberately created and everyone is buying it.

  • I know the good ATF agents wanted to stop these guns knowing this would be there last chance to recover them.Comes a time when you have to through yourself on the problem and if it takes being fired after years of work so be it.These are simple right and wrongs if the chain of command is so badly damaged you should not serve it.

This needs to be exposed on a higher level if you are ATF and have been witness to this come forward and tell all.Your service is in vaine supporting the present system

  • alex featured here too....watch?v=xQl9BjUtqDc

  • 575 guns for personal use? hahahahaha

  • @Roccaleta id like 10 ar15's for my personal use, but im a conservative i would probally be arrested if i even bought 1 legally now

  • the ATF is a U.S. goverment agency, that for you has to respect don´t matter this agency kill U.S. border patrol with own wapenns

  • That criminal Mexican was allowed to buy 575 AK 47's !!!

The death toll for year by these guns used in robbery's and murders is going to be mind boggling !

I am a hunter and a gun owner and I say a complete ban on these hunks of junk AK's is well over due in all of North America .

No one use these Ak junk guns for sporting use at all .

  • @Moldovawineimporter

Well I'm a drinker but I dont drink wine. They should ban wine.. Especially that imported foreign garbage. /* how'd that sound? */

I dont own any AK's but they're very economical and fun to shoot. Especially in this day where we have so much demand for ammo due to our world police effort. 7.62x39 is a cheap round, and they are very popular guns. Besides banning any gun is a slippery slope, sir.

  • @fargley001 Since you Idolise Russia and everything made in Russia so much maybe you should move there .

Maybe a week in Moscow if you live through a week in Russia without getting murdered or kidnapped for the global sex trade you just might see Russia and everything made in Russia in a different view and you won't be so fast to attack someone with totally stupid messages .

By the way the Gangster Thug gun AK doesn't cost any more to shoot than a AR .

  • @Moldovawineimporter

Not sure where you got that... "You idolize Russia?"

You completely miss my points - please read my post again. I'm not sure how I can make things any simpler for you. It has nothing to do with Russia, or me attacking you. Which BTW - my point was about how just because you dont value something, does not mean it should be illegal.

By the wa - Gangsters seldom use AK's - they typically prefer revolvers that dont leave evidence behind.

  • @fargley001 If you take just a moment from Idolising your favorite Russian AK 47 and defending Russian's you badly want to be like the facts are in your face the AK is a thug criminals gun .

The ATF just did a sting operation in the city I'm living in two months ago the ATf operated their fake business buying stolen guns and buying drugs 475 AK's had been bought from drug dealing gansters thugs .

Some of the Ak's had been converted to full auto .

So get your facts strait AK = thug gun

  • @Moldovawineimporter

Its obvious that you watch to much holly wood movies

  • @Moldovawineimporter you are a real moron

  • @Mr127superdee OH what I hurt your feelings I insult your favorite Idolised country Russia !

I know what your thinking, its like you hate George Bush and Obana and all wars are started by the U.S for oil .

So in your little drug filled brain your thinking lets love Vladimir Putin and Idolise Russia because thats where the AK 47 comes from .

I am absoluty amazed how stuipd American youth have become by watching Russian war video games !

All of you little bastard see Russia as some disney land

  • @Moldovawineimporter i am trying my very hardest to figure out where you keep getting this "idolise russia" thing i dont even like russians but i guess thats beside the point maybe you are just joking about this at least thats what i hope because your really starting to come off as delusional i just dont think ak 47s should be banned go get some medication pal

  • @Mr127superdee Thank you now you can go back to polishing your AK 47 and planing your next drive by shooting or robbing a 7-11 store and stairing at and Idolising your poster of lennin and Stalin whishing you could be a Russian too !

  • @Mr127superdee Your just like every jack ass Kid in American and Canada kid dreaming of owning a AK 47 and wanting to be like a Russian because your video war games always show the Russian's with AK's blowing up Americans and George Bush starts wars for oil so lets hate the Americans.

I bet you get up in morning salute to your posters of Lennen and Stalen then goose step back and forth holding your AK 47 airsoft dreaming of the day you buy a real AK and move to Russia to be like a Russian .

  • @Moldovawineimporter And you just like every dillusional mentally handicapped bum i see walking the streets talking to themselves and expressing their wahcked out beleifs about other people. GO GET SOME HELP!

  • @Mr127superdee Yeh and flights from the U.S to Moscow are daily you should get your low life bottom feeder self on a plane to Russia so we can remove one more low gene pool AK loving ass hole from the U.S .

In Russia you can complete your life dream maybe even play with a real AK and fine a women who will have your low quality genes to start a family with .

These AK's really attrach out lowest form of bottom feeders of people !

  • @Moldovawineimporter yeah and you should get your crazy ass on the next buss to the nearest metal institution and maybe they can give you some anti-psychotics so you stop hearing voices that tell you people who like ak 47s should go to russia

  • @Moldovawineimporter Haha, are you serious? Are you actually this retarded, or are you just trolling? By the sound of your name, you're a Russian importer yourself. What, are you just mad that there's plenty of US Citizens out there that would use this lovely gun against the enemy, communists, or the original makers themselves if need be? Oh, wait a minute... many folks out there have already beat any of us in that regard. It isn't exactly a uniform you know... well, besides for the Akbars.

  • @Moldovawineimporter In my day, I've seen plenty of illegally armed American gangsters personally... and from my years of observation, the vast majority used, and carried "machine pistol" category, and handguns.

  • @KingdomAwaits Your a total idiot !

You say in your day like your claiming to be an older adult but your only a snot noised pink that is 24 years old !

And your B.S thug gangsters use Machine pistols is total BS .

That BS is strait out of the movies you have been watching .

  • @fargley001 How do you sound ? Like a true AK 47 loving moron just the kind of jack ass who is attracted to AK's !

You are also ignorant to many issues, but to why the price of ammunition is so High and kind of scarce .

The price and shortage of ammunition is not related to U.S forces over seas .

This ammo shortage was caused by Obama being elected that caused a rush to hord ammunition by Americans at home not over seas by our troops.

  • @Moldovawineimporter There is nothing different about an ak-47 from a semi auto savage or any other type of aemi auto rifle other then the looks. I have used an ak-47 for hunting before. They are used for sporting purposes and target shooting, plinking and self defense all the time. The gun is not the problem. Any gun owner should be beind all guns, not just the kind they might approve of. As with all semi-auto's, they fire 1 round when you press the trigger.

  • @Drsteagle Before looking more like an idiot than you already are justt out to attack someone you should first see what they do for a business like me I own a custom build gun shop .

So you idiot I know how a semi auto works and know one hunts with AK's unless you can say ripping down a street in a car blasting at people on the side walks with your AK thug gun is a sport .

  • 575 AK-47 rifles for "personal use"? This is what I call weapons of mass destruction, because one single person would certainly die under the sheer MASS of the weapons. Each rifle weight 10 pounds.

  • What is saddening is how few people have seen this. This is an international operation. That means it had to be approved by the President.

  • this is so disgusting in so many levels i don't even have words to describe this. i live in the usa but i will soon be moving and i just wanted to let you know that you are disgusting pigs many innocents lives were taken because of you i hope you never know the pain of a loved one being killed thx to you a border patrol agent died and many mexican children were murdered i hope that whomever is responsible for this is charged with murder.

  • Gun Owners of America has initiated a petition to strip the ATF of all firearm related authority. Let's show congress that there are plenty of us that support this idea.

  • @FromanMD

Thumbs up - that's right. Secretary Clinton is still spewing lies! The obama administration has been riding on that very lie for a couple of years now. Here's the original report:

    /watch?v=AYTJlZbMerk

  • just US claiming more innocent lives, they didnt have enough with irak i guess

  • Janet Noplatono at her best

  • Is it possible drug money can now corrupt high-level ATF officials?

  • @deleonrikkie

Money and Power - the two together, in enough excess, could probably corrupt the pope.

    .

Man is flawed - this is something people need to think about before they entrust the exchange of liberty for the service of false security from the federal government.. A much smaller federal government would serve us better.

  • @theshaggyshow Undoubtedly liberal ideology had everything to do with making the call that the guns should walk...

Look, I'm a conservative and I'm sure as hell no fan of liberal policy, but I hate irrationality even more. This decision to let the guns move and then track them could have led to a jackpot, but it didn't. Local LE does this stuff all the time, it's a risky move, but when it pays off- it's huge. It has nothing to do with political ideology.

  • @RJhasFLOW

The city of Chicago is a master of the control you advocate. They took away people's rights in the name of efficiency, and safety. For nearly 30 years they watched "handgun violence" grow. It wasn't until the McD V Chicago that they were forced to reverse that. Their response - to impose draconian registration program...

    .

You logic is noble, but history shows it to be flawed. "Concentrated power is not rendered harmless by the good intentions of those who create it."

  • @fargley001 Please don't put words in my mouth sir. I have and always will be an advocate for our second amendment rights.

The laws in Chicago were blatantly unconstitutional and that they stood for so long is still a mystery to me.

Whether or not my logic is noble, it is also correct. Despite any preconceived notions we hold towards centralized power, it has its advantages in LE scenarios.

  • @RJhasFLOW

I disagree, I think your logic is incorrect - this video is a good example of why.

I'm not attacking your pro second amendment rights - I'm not even trying to attack you. I'm simply stating that man is flawed, and concentrated power, as you seem to be advocating, puts too much power into flawed hands.

Chicago politicians justified their laws by claiming it made the police's job easier. The 4th 5th and 6th amendments suggest that making LE's job easy was any of their concern.

  • @fargley001 I'm not an advocate of centralized power. What I am an advocate for, however, is objective and bias-free discussion.

Centralizing power allows for quicker reactions to various problems. This is irrefutable. Does it come with several drawbacks? Absolutely.

The course of action DEA officials took in "letting the guns walk" is a strategy taken by LE organizations all over the world for decades. This time, it came back to bite them in a particularly nasty way.

  • @RJhasFLOW

I see we agree on some points but we disagree on others - that's ok with me. Thanks for taking the time to post.

  • @RJhasFLOW

Sorry for the chopped response - 500 characters is quite a restriction for such a topic.

I was trying to say the founding fathers did not care about making LE's job easier. Chicago used the "making LE's job easier" as justification for their unconstitutional laws.

I'm not calling you out as someone who does not support the 2nd amendment, I'm pointing out that the risk of alienating the rights of man, is not justification for the reward of better enabling law enforcement.

  • @fargley001 I agree 100% percent with this comment.

  • @NoMAIG ....I believe you're oversimplifying the matter.

The Mexican government IS serious on cartels. They've been waging a war on them for the past decade. The problem is, is that the government itself is largely infiltrated by cartels. From local cops, military to officials.

At this point, the civilian populace is in fear of the Cartels and wary of the government. Giving the populace arms might make sense in the US, but it is not a magic solution in Mexico.

  • @NoMAIG

I agree on all points - espectially legalizing. Legalizing cannabis would take away the revenue source of almost all the inner city gangs, and would cripple the cartels. It would empty nearly 1/2 of our prisons, and free up our courts to address more serious crimes.

    .

You'd think that prohibition would have taught a lesson. Particularly in Chicago where the same damn thing is happening today, as back in the 1920's.

  • @fargley001 You have to realize that much (if not most) of the heroin trade on the West Coast comes from Mexico--black tar heroin. So it's not just about cannabis.

  • @jmelkis No doubt, however cannabis is undoubtedly a large source of revenue for these Cartels. I maintain that the most efficient way to hit these guys is to attack their cash flow. You can't attack these guys head on with guns, however the US has stubbornly maintained this position against several other insurgent/guerrilla organizations.

  • @jmelkis

Hey, I'm for legalizing them all. Just the same, if the FBI statistics are any indicator to the market - 50% of all drug arrests were cannabis related in 2009. If you take 50% of the revenue from the cartels, you'll see a substantial impact to their operations (think of if your paycheck was cut in 1/2)

Another factor to consider are the economies of drugs. Cannabis being cheaper and legal, would certainly impact the "hard" market as well. So the cartels would stand to lose a lot.

  • Notice the use of language like "Military like assault rifles" almost as if they were pushing for the ban of such weapons for sale. As if that would stop the cartels. Im am absolutely sure that they guns from Iran and Venzuela as well.

  • @TheRealTaco87

you're right - that's standard liberal media propaganda/lingo. You'll notice, quite often, that they'll also show pictures of full auto, and grenades too...

When the facts dont support your argument, you need to get creative in how you approach selling your ideas. Fear, sex, self preservation, character assassination... That's the entire MSM playbook...

To their credit, this piece did air. And there were a few references to "semi auto versions of * rifle"... /shrug

  • @TheRealTaco87 The VAST majority comes from the US. This is a documented fact, regardless of what political ideology you subscribe to. I'm all for the second amendment, but to ignore the fact that we are pretty much THE source for guns for Mexican Cartels is to live in denial. It's simply cheaper and quicker to get them here.

  • we have pinhead obama and his flunkies trying to ban weapons in America because of the Mexican violence yet BATF they pull this shit dance in the blood you caused obama what a fucking tragedy he is

  • Hmmm..., wonder if somebody at ATF got paid off by the drug cartels to look the other way?

  • From, what I understand, BATFE has only 2500 agents and hasn't had a dedicated director in almost 2 years.I would say scrap the whole agency, but I imagine that this decision came from above and very little info was gotten from letting the guns go...

  • What benefit is there to have an ATF anyway? Are they somehow more competent than local law enforcement? Operation "Gun Runner" suggests that they are not.

    .

    Another government "success story"...

    .

Get rid of the ATF! They only serve to give more centralized control that will be used to further augment a corrupted system!

  • @fargley001 The benefits to have a centralized control over local law enforcement is the fact that all intel is headed to one group. When you have multiple, decentralized groups working on a case, each might piece together part of the picture. By consolidating this information, you can create a group that can act with better intel and act faster.

The fuck up here has nothing to do with the nature of centralized agencies per se, but with incompetence on a personal level.

  • @RJhasFLOW

That power and efficiency goes both ways you know. I disagree with consolidation of power - it always has nasty consequences at some point. There's no reason why local law enforcement still cant share information. They do so anyway. If another centralized power had to be in place, why cant it be the FBI. To me the ATF is worthless..

  • @fargley001 Consolidation of power does have its obvious drawbacks- that being said, with crimes like these, the necessity to act quickly is paramount.

Local law enforcements CAN and DO still share information, but the reality is, there is nothing mandating them to share information and often times they DON'T cooperate? Why? Many jurisdictions have turf battles.

The ATF and the FBI coordinate a great deal on many issues. Getting rid of the ATF would only make the FBI even bigger...

  • This is what happens when idiots get promoted to positions of authority and are entrusted to make important decisions.
