I agree w/you Victory, but what I meant about the deck boss seeing it as laying claim is this. Most of the crew have been working that boat for many years with each other. Long enough for everyone to have become a tight family & to consider the ship their home. It would be like inviting someone to your house for dinner & the first thing they do is hang a picture of their wife in your living room. At least that is how view the deck bosses reaction, but I think he handled it terribly .
