  • This is such a shame! I couldn't go further past the 5' and I tried but this music is so annoying!! Though the routines are very good, I have to put another music on the top of it or just turn it down but what's the point once I don't hear your voice anymore! :(( Anyway, keep on with your great work but pleaaase, change the background musiiic!!

  • Tara, how am I supposed to do that move at 3:29? i'm afraid i might fall or worse, twist my hand or something, because i never did yoga before, never took any yoga class either. is it ok not to lift both feet , or just keep one foot on the ground?

  • Hya, just wanted to say how much i love this four wk program, and all the vidoes you've posted. i find them perfect for fitting in to a busy lifestyle. I can do one when i'm busy and do a few back to back when i need to really work my body and de-stress my mind, also wonderful for meditation preperation :)

  • @rachelgracebabe hya, just thought i'd say that a way to keep from slipping on your mat is to use the very tips of the fingers, so your palms and tips of the fingers are pressed into the mat, it doesn't matter if the middle knuckles come up from the mat slightly, this should increase your stability :)

He was all excited but we were quite skeptical, and never believed in all these BS courses. But you know what it turns out to be the best solution we ever have tried.   • I stoped after like 5 minutes -.- I feel pathetic...this is a sign that at my 110 I weigh too much! Great video tho : ) Helps me alot ^^

  • @JESSIIImadden i dont think so, weight has nothing to do with strength girl .. in fact your muscles may need more nutrients so it has something to work with..

    is it possible for me to lose weight so i can look a lot slimmer.

    my goal is 115, but i think its impossible because i feel that my body is structered.

  • Just wanted to say that I started doing yoga about a month ago...I am a runner, and although I love running, I have felt kind of a plateau setting in, and I felt I needed something new, lifestyle wise...I have really enjoyed learning these routines from you, it's been a really positive experience...I'm hooked...way to go, with putting yourself out there...lots of people will be affected by you in a positive way...that's an awesome thing, to touch a life!!

  • Question, please answer Tara, is the belly supposed to be tucked in during all yoga moves? I've noticed that my whole body gets toned when I do yoga except for my belly, I don't have like belly fat or anything but it's not as flat as yoga is supposed to make it, and then I realized that I don't tuck it in during the exercises, and when I did, I felt a big difference (it felt great, my ab muscles really worked with me), so should one tuck their belly in during ALL poses?

  • I'm loving this, but i can't push my leg as high as you. Will i be able to do it if i practice for about a few weeks? Will it make a difference? I'm 17 by the way. :)

  • I have done heaps of different yoga classes and DVD and yours are the best I have tried. They are easy to follow and even this 7 minute exercise makes you feel good. :)

  • @zanaj83 - I have the eco-friendly mat from he Barefoot Yoga Company and after 20 years of practicing yoga, this is the most amazing mat I've ever owned. It's not cheap, but remember....you get what you pay for.

  • Tara, I think this video is great! If people are looking for weight loss, it's not going to be easy. Some people need to realize that it is going to be tough to knock off the weight that they gained. Sweat is best! And drink plenty of water.

    Very recently i came to know abt yr videos and am practicing these 4 week program. I mange to do 70% of the video 3 times a week. Kindly lemme know if its safe to practice it more than 3 times i.e. may be 5 times a week. coz it really feels gr8 after doinn these routines.

  • This is way too fast and difficult for a week 1 routine. Anyone trying to lose weight would be too fat to lift themselves like that. I'm underweight and I can't do this for shit. I think that this is rather triggering for anyone with self esteem issues. So yeah, if your aim was to make people feel unfit and insufficient, well done.

  • @superherobreakfree Hey, I'm overweight and I can do this routine. Minus the little lift she does with both legs in the air. Sure it's hard. But it's not impossible. People are more flexible then they thing cause I can do the pigeon pose and I didn't think I would be able too. So I think you should rethink what you said because it's not true for everyone :)

  • Hi there Tara, was just wondering if you had any tips on postures that can help condition the body to be able to eventually mater that downward dog split pose lowering into plank position. It would be much appreciated if you could recommend some beginners postures to help build strength and flexibility to pull that move off! Would love to be able to do it. :) Loven your vid btw!

  • I have the strength to do all these poses and the transitions, but I think you go way too fast - also the music is distracting. Your yoga is beneficial, I can tell, but if one isn't familiar with your routine its really hard to watch you and follow along.   • For all the beginners asking for something more realistic, or people who really want to do this to lose weight: check out Sadie Nardini's video series Weight Loss Yoga for Overweight Yogis for real beginners, or Weight Loss Yoga Power Half Hour. They are manageable and if you do them 4-6x per week you will see such a difference so fast. I couldn't believe how toned I got. With Tara's video I feel like if you can already do this stuff...you don't need this video!

  • @MsRoxieroo I completely agree. I've seena few videos where they are racing through everything. People who are really trying to lose weight and truly are beginners need something more explanatory and simplistic. I'm disappointed with this video simply for those reasons.

  • I love these moves! I am no beginner, so maybe thats why its not too hard for me to get these moves done. Anyhow, if you need some toning done, these moves ACTUALLY work!!!! Some people sweat a lot easier than others. I am definitely one who sweats a lot. lol so don't worry if you did or didnt sweat, it really just depends.

  • Wow, I don't ever recall sweating while doing a yoga workout, but with your 7 min video I actually did! The best thing is that my heart did not have to raise or anything and I still feel the workout! This is really good and I think I'll try your 4 week challenge! I'm not currently aiming to loose weight but i was looking for a good home-workout to substitute my gym sessions. I'll let you know if it had results by the end of the 4 weeks!
