I HATE that it was the alien instead of Jack!! If only he could have heard her say that stuff about not expecting to meet him and delaying her marriage because she did..Especially when she looks straight at him and says Rhys isn't afraid to tell her he loves her- WHY couldn't the real Jack have heard any of that??? It could've been so different if he had....

It's actually very smart the way they had the scene. We all think it's really Jack because of the refernce to The Doctor and the way that Jack smiled at gwen when he enteres the room so its nice little sweet moment where Gwacks are yelling "Go for it!! Kiss her jack!" and the jantos & Gweys are screaming "No Gwen don't do it!!"

Then jack's the shapeshifter and everyone says "Didn't see that coming!!"
