  • I have to say, Streetlight's version is a bit better. I think it was more beautifully composed on 99 Songs.

  • this song sounded really good.... until he started singing

  • @docdoom1994 I respectfully disagree.

  • I remember in the fifth grade when my dad first began listening to Mason Jennings and I've been a fan ever since, 7 years strong <3

  • I remember buying this album over a decade ago at a CD shop in Dinkytown (Minneapolis U of M campus). This track and "Black Panther" were my favorites.

  • This is a great song.... and Streetlight just completely kicked the shit out of it.... Thomas made it epic....

  • holy fuck.

  • You know what I do like a lot from Streetlight's version though? It's that they use piano in the parts near the end where in this version he's got the acoustic guitar going... Both are beautiful.

  • I love this song. I'll admit I first got hooked on the Streetlight Manifesto cover which tbh sounds like a different song ska'd up but no less chill inducing. Musicality is nice but I have to say this is one case where the lyrics make the song (and I NEVER say that).

  • @toph4er Same story with me. I'd never heard it before this right now.... But oh man it's like, chilling.

  • Such an underrated song...

  • givs me chills too...

  • love this song, gives me chills. thanks for the upload
